HELP ME

I need help, badly

I played one game on rookie, and ahve played 4 games on all star

here are some of my stats

average points given up: 81
average points scored: 67
free throw percentage: 13%

yeah, well, need I say more

I know I can work on my free throws, but I am struggling on both ends of the floor. Some games are close, but then its jsut like the cpu steps it up.

What can I do to help me out. I know I can practice my free throw shooting, but what are some tips you guys can give me to help me out

btw, maybe its just my bad luck, but I always play as the Pacers, and it seems like JO/Scott Pollard can never get off a shot in the paint

Jump shots are based on being open, and I am doing ok wiht my jumper, my 3's stink, but 3;s really rely on being open.

Skins, this is a game of patience. If the game is close, and the CPU starts going on a run, call a TO, regroup, adjust your strategy, and slow the game up.

As far as the FT shooting goes, I have the opposite problem. I make too many, so what I did, was go to the controller setup, and set Free Throw shooting to Easy, so it is basically based on the FT Rating of the player. All you do is push X and wait to see if it goes in. MY Cavaliers shoot about 69% doing this. Hope this helps.

Set alot of picks for your best shooters. Also, in your game settings set "shooting" from manual to easy. in this mode shooters pct. is supposedly based on their real life pct. Stay in this mode until your comfortable with your shooting (while you're not playing a game, go into the practice section and practice all types of shots. Make sure you're in manual shooting mode doing this or you're wasting your time though!).
