You have to tweak with the sound settings a bit, but its not that bad. On default, the Play by Play is to loud, turn that down so you have to turn your TV uop more and the court sound are very cool. You here people in the stands talking [censored you naughty boy] and what not. Also players saying stuff, it pretty good. For me, the crowds seem different with different teams. Some game they are loud, other times there quite.

They definetly like the three ball! They boo when you suck, and get loud on runs, most of the time. Some nights they are just quite, but lots ofcrowds are like this in the NBA early in the season. Might change in the plaoffs.

they can't touch Live '04's crowds.

They are not bad and they do respond okay (cheer appropriately, boo etc.) but they have that whole murmer thing going on....you know.....mumble, mumble, mumble like a noise track.

They definitely have none of the flair of the chants or organ clapping or calling player names like LIVE.

Live has one of the best sports tracks I've ever heard and it will be haed pressed to be beaten.

If there is one area that ID falls short it's in the sound Dept. IMO.

Although the sounds that ID does better are the rim and net sounds.

GREAT dunk sounds (better than lives) and excdellent swish when you drill the jumper...it's like a reward when you hit one!

Even the misses clanking off the rim sound great.

I have a decent 5.1 sound set-up (for a small office) so I pay a lot of attention to the sound.
