Re: The Subtle things you\'re noticing?
When reserves are subbed in, you can actually see them getting up off of the bench and the player that they are replacing running over and sitting down. I thought that was pretty cool. -

Some things -
When a player is really tired he literally struggles to run back on D with his arms flopping as he jogs. Usually happens to big men. Nice.
Missed shots can go anywhere. I've seen 3 pointers hit the side of the backboard, the rim and go over the backboard, and every side of the rim. I've even seen a couple air balls. Nice ball physics in regards to shots.
I've seen some really cool off balance shooting and getting fouled player animations. Also, there are off the ball fouls, first game I've seen with them.

Re: The Subtle things you\'re noticing?
first game I've seen with air balls from the free-throw line.
Players arguing calls.
Individual sliders.
Realistic fg% without tinkering too much with sliders.
Losing without feeling cheated.
On a fast-break, the computer defender will not use his warp speed to catch up to the guy with the ball to prevent a dunk.
Rim-outs.
No inbounding glitch where you can steal the inbounds pass everytime.
I don't have to play realistically in order to lose.
bounce passes.
Behind-the-back passes.
The first game where, in order to win the opening tip, you actually have to jump immediately as the referee throws the ball in the air as opposed to other games where you have to wait for the ball to come down.
Players coming off picks ala Reggie Miller for open j's.Comment

Re: The Subtle things you\'re noticing?
just last night while playing as the lakers i had Shaq take an off-balance hook shot that completely missed the rim. Instead it hit the top of the backboard and went out of bounds. i remember the commentators saying something funny about the shot but i dont really remember what it wasComment

Re: The Subtle things you\'re noticing?
I have noticed the same things you guys have during the game..I also like the new commentary added! Although they are still the same from last year's ID..they changed it up abit, like when your doing a season they actually talk about the current status of the team..
And during the half time reports is cool as well, i remember beating the lakers at the half wit the cavs in my season and the reporter was saying how the lakers thought that this should have been an easy win for them..
Haven't seen any injuries yet tho in the game..wanna see how that looksComment
