I don't think I mind the actual opposing AI's subs. It's your own substitution patters that just suck. I mean the AI handling your substitution patterns. There's no way I should be seeing clarence Weatherspoon as SG or PG for instance. Yet I'll see him on the court handling the ball.

Damn guys, just use manual subs! I have always done that. I cant belive people actually let the CPU sub for THEM, that is just weird to me. Easy fix.GT: Event Horizon 0Comment

Uh, yeah, I know. That's what I do now. I already said I did a couple of posts above. Still, I do think the substitution AI needs work. I haven't noticed anything terrible and I hope I never notice anything out of place when I play the AI and see its substitutions. There's no way I'd accept having to sub for THEM as well. The AI should be competent in handling their defensive matchups, subs, timeouts, offensive and defensive strategy. I don't want to play a chess game with myself. I want to compete against the AI.Comment

edubbs, ranked games online are on the all-star level. Just play ranked games. I have no problem finding good games with people that play realistacally.

I disagree about the online play being light years ahead of the computer A.I. If you play on the All Star level, and you adjust the sliders some you can have great games against the computer.
I don't like how the online games become too focused on steals and dunks. Against the computer you can run your offense and play a more realistic game of basketball. Also, I don't steal much with when I play the computer becuase it is too easy to steal and makes for a better game if you don't take advantage of it.
Don't get me wrong the online component is fun, but for someone who enjoys a realistic game, and not something closer to NBA Jam, I like to play the computer more, as long as you adjust things a little.Comment

At the risk of being flammed....playing online is light years ahead of playing the cpu.
I can't even think of playing the corny *** AI when I know that there is someone out there waiting to be spanked! Try going online, man, I almost sure you'll never go back to solo playing!

Are you kidding? I don't know anyone who buys a game solely to play online and ignore the off-line experience. That defeats the whole purpose of a franchise mode.Comment
