i think it's a misunderstanding. i have no problem with the graphics and i think many that say they do don't have that big of a problem with them. the problem is with the animations. there are many animations that just look bad and others that just don't exist that make things a little different. the still shots look great to me too but many instances in motion leaves a lot to be desired.

Re: How do people judge the graphics?
My problem with ID's graphics are the very messy jerseys and inaccurate faces. Gameplay is great so 2005 should be straight presentation, graphics and atmosphere IMO.
ID's graphics need the following....
1. Accurate player faces like Garnett is already in ID.
2. Much cleaner/less messy and more accurate jerseys.
3. Better bodies, mainly the arms.
4. Way better tatoos.
5. More high quality gear(not painted on)anything worn that
isn't spandex needs thickness including socks.
6. Sweat technology like you see in the screenshots at high- voltage website of ID.
Why doesn't ID look like this..

Re: How do people judge the graphics?
Wow good pics.
Seriously....where are those graphics.
the faces look great, the skin and the textures (air holes) on the unis.
Damned shame....maybe next year they can figure how to keep the frame rate up and do more animations and those graphics.
High Voltage should be made to run the graphics through Microsoft Studios to catch up with the other XSN titles.
They are great with gameplay....but graphics... not so much.
I do agree with Monkey that the stadiums and the floor look good.
Although that crowd for all the hype, is not great. Rivals crowd is much better IMO.Comment

Re: How do people judge the graphics?
id agree with the points made above...the graphics could use some refinement and depth....additional animations would also rock.....but whats doing it for me so far is the atmosphere....just FEELS like an NBA game to me, really freakin coolComment

Re: How do people judge the graphics?
That's crazy how the graphics regressed from that to the final product. You cant even read the names off the jerseys in drive cam, and the replay doesnt allow for close enough zoom to see details.
I think that at least we know HV is capable of those graphics, and next year we should get that (along with a much better franchise/dynasty mode, extra modes, real unlockables (ie, not the game makers), classic teams/decade teams, throwbacks......
I'm going on and on but tha point is that wit online and gameplay set, there's no excuse for HV not to at least give us those graphics and one of the other things I listed (preferably franchise)Comment
