    First time ID users?

I'm just curious how many people who are playing this game are playing this series for the first time?

Have you switched from another game or have you not played a Bball sim for a few years?

What made you try it and how does it compare to the other BBall games that you have tried?

For me I owned 2002 version for two days, and owned 2003 for a few weeks this year before NBA Live was released.

Switched to this (traded Live) re-purchased Live and ended up falling for ID and selling Live ....again.

    Anybody else?

Klocker, I used to play Live, then fell for 2k3 and am now a first time ID playa. I love it. I especially like the little things, like guys falling to the ground and staying down while the ball handler drives through the middle and takes it to the hoop. I like realistic games. I play sport to simulate the real life experience. If its not real, its no fun to me. ID is very real. I thought Live wasn't too real because of the small court size, player bunching and constant fast breaks and double teams. ESPN is my second favorite, but the lack of team specific plays and players playing like they do in real life (especially big men) made it lacking. ID is perfect, except sticking to your man on defense. Maybe I'll get better with the tips I'm getting on this site.
