What makes ID better than ESPN and LIVE?

Can someone please list all of the things that make Inside Drive better than ESPN and LIVE? I know things like individual sliders, and off of the ball picks (does LIVE have this?) but I do not know everything. What aspects specifically make it superior. I know the gameplay, but what aspects of the gameplay? What features?

I need a strong argument with very specific points to convince one of my ESPN friends and one of my LIVE friends

    Thanx!

You don't need to convince your friends because as with all games, it is a matter of taste. You should pick what YOU like. Let them pick what they like. That said, if you like the ultimate in realism (realistic NBA experience where players and teams play like they do in the NBA) then ID is your game. If you like graphics, ESPN is your game. If you're looking for an arcade feel, Live is your game (I'm sorry, but real NBA game doesn't have defenders reacting like they do in Live). Take your pick. For me, its ID.

Thats what I mean. What makes it the most realistic? What about the other games is unrealistic that make it not as good as a realistic depiction of basketball?

Well, like I said, players play to their real abilities. You won't see Shaq throwing down windmills or making 10 foot jumpshots like you do in ESPN. You won't see defensive AI playing like they're on some hyper tensive drug like in Live. The court has better spacing than Live. Teams run their specific plays. Double teaming is not automatic like Live. All of that makes it more realistic. Just rent it and decide.

I don't own ID 2004 yet (I am having to much fun with ID 2003 NOW) but one thing that I LOVE about
the game is, if you are controlling the defensive player guarding a great scorer the AI recognizes
this most of the time and schools you with picks, alley oops, and HUMILIATING in your face jumpers!

The freaking shooters some time stare me down for a few seconds while I'm shaking like a crap
game, then they smack a J in my face. Some players you just cant reach in for a steal against they
will burn you. J.Stockton broke me down so bad one game I just started to laugh. He would drive hard
to the lane then pull up for the shot (Money), He would back pick my big men for Malone (Money). He
would drive and dish (Money). He would push off and drain the J (money).

These things dont happen often in any other BBall games.
