ID doesn't let you pass out of dunks or layups

Why would you want to pass out dunk or layups?? Not a smart basketball play...

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Because it happens in real life.

Mostly when you want to show off. Barely anytime during a real game. Most times a player drives and kicks it out before ever attempting a layup.

There's nothing wrong with showing off.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Actually it's more than just showing off. Guards will drive and have their shot half up, then decide to pass off. Maybe not dunks, but certainly layups and other close shots.

I usually don't get annoyed but the first reply really gets me. Who cares if it's not a smart basketball play, the fact is it's a real basketball play. To defend a videogame with a reply like that isn't a smart forum play...

I didn't think it was showing off but that's what neo said.

                  Re: To get it straight?

Thank god you can't pass out of a dunk/layup, you can watch 100 games and never see this! Yet people online would abuse this feature 50 times again. Everytime you had a bead on them to block thier layup they would pass out of a dunk behind their back to someone 30 ft away open for a three. These things get exploited, if they ever allow passing out of a layup it should result in a turnover 75% of the time. Same with passing out of a jumpshot, oh how do I hate this feature and how it is abused online. They need to make these less effective.

Even though I dont see what the big deal is with this feature, it does happen in the NBA. I saw Mcleod of the wolves do it the other night. Still, i think it would be abused, just like passing out of jumper
