Changing difficulty in season?

Hey--

I was about ready to start my season when I realized that it doesn't allow you to change the difficulty once you've started. Is that true? If it is, that totally sucks. I'd like to play on the mid level for the first 10-15 games, then kick it up a notch--however, if that's not possible I don't know what I'll do.

Start thinks, cause it not possible. Maybe give your self a slider advantage for awhile (on ALL-Star). Should do the trick.

You can set the level at the start, then when you are playing the game, you can change it in the options menu. You just set the default at the beginning. Now if someone coudl figure out how to change the quarter lengths....

when i started my season i changed the difficulty when i paused during a game,and then it changed the default difficulty in my season setting also.

Thanks guys. Why would they make the quarter length and difficulty frozen when you start? That's a pretty piss poor design decision.

A) It's been well established that you CAN change the difficulty settings in game.

B) It's not piss poor design. I've had the 3 editions of Inside Drive on Xbox, and it has never once occurred to me to want to change the quarter length mid season. It's not piss poor design, it's more like an unlikely request. If I was designing a perfect game, the ability to do that would not even cross my mind. It isn't a common alteration people want to make.
