Re: Dunks and Dribble Moves
The dunks are PHENOMENAL!! If you get a breakaway with JRich, or Kobe or Tmac, watch out. The big men also seem to have a diff set then the dunking guards and suh. Sometimes I have to go to replay and watch them, there nuts.
The moves are ok. There not flashy, but they actually work and arent there just to show off "ive achieved the ISO motion!" it works.GT: Event Horizon 0 -

Re: Dunks and Dribble Moves
Yup, completely agree. Personally, I actually think the crossovers are fine and represent the NBA very well. Mostly in iso situations would you see some very fancy dribbling. Otherwise I think the hesitation dribble moves in ID do an excellent job of representing the NBA.Comment

Re: Dunks and Dribble Moves
They look ok, but I still think it's just luck whether they work or not. Obviously you don't want to see the game do a copy of the whole isomotion thing from ESPN but that is one thing I miss after switching from ESPN to ID. It's just a random press of the dribble button and if it works it works, no skill or timing involved and it doesn't seem to matter who the player is dribbling either.Comment

i have to disagree... you use the moves in ID when you have good position, its not a timing thing like in the other games. and guys like Pierce and Kobe have VERY strong moves. try playing with Pierce and your moves will be very effective, that is, if you have good position. i can use my moves and get to the basket with the lower ranked players too but its a little easier with the higher ranked players.
and plus you can adjust the sliders to make the moves more effective. also the effectiveness of the moves depend on the camera angle you use in relation to the controller. i like to go into the practice mode and work on my moves with different camera angles. it will help.Comment
