On the contrary, I thought they dumbed down a bit on the AI this year and made it a bit too easy. Maybe it's just me. I was playing with the Knicks on the hardest level and never lost. Don't know why.

you must buy it!!

it takes a few games or so to get into. at first it feels weird coz its so different to the other games, but OH MY, once u learn to control it and you play it its so smooth and its unbelievable.
there are no words to describe how amazing and good the basketball is in this game.
i find it hard to find anything wrong whatsoever with the gameplay.
the animations and graphics could do with improving but they are nowhere near as bad as people make them out to be.
this game is absolutely perfect and you just have to play it to know.
watching players coming off screen and hitting shots (specially reggie miller!) and so much off the ball movement, and actual NBA team plays being run constantly just makes this the most fun and exciting game ive played.

if you never lost a game with the Knicks you`re either damn good at this game or you`re pulling my johnson...

seriouosly... ID is a great game. it plays so much like what you see in the NBA! players away from the ball come off of high screens and low screens and knock down the jumpers or drive the lane, big men battle for rebounds and loose balls, big men set low post screens for each other so they can get better post position, realistic number of steals, blocks and fast breaks, players defending the passing lanes, guards running the show, players and teams get on hot and cold streaks, each team uses the same strategies that they use in real life, a good solid AI that will adjust to your strategys, etc..etc..

unlike the other games that are more centered around fancy one on one moves and an unrealistic number of fast breaks, ID is more like what you see in the NBA. basicly... ID is all about court awareness, playcalling, finding the open man, teamwork and using proper defensive tactics.

i think this game is much better at representing the NBA than LIVE and ESPN are! sure the graphics could be better but they are much better than last years version of this game. but really.... you play ID for great gameplay not graphics. if realistic gameplay is what you`re looking for this is it!
