Just played my first game on XBox Live last night. Me and one of my good friends were playing at about 9:30, and we played a cheeser who chose the Blazers and kept on running in and dunking with Wallace. I am talking about every damn time too. Of course we were playing on Rookie because it was the only game we could find, but it was terrible. There was 5 seconds left on the clock, Cavs ball, and we were down by 3. My buddy inbounded the ball to me, and Wagner was spotted up for the wide open three (Being on Rookie, he should have made it), but I fired it up, and it hit front iron as time expired, and we lost by three.
Needless to say, it was still fun even though he was a cheeser. But then we play a team of 3 guys from Chicago who are using Custom Rosters, and of course, you guessed it, they had recreated the 97-98 Chicago Bulls. We were the Nets in this game, and they figured they were going to have an easy time of beating us, but we played some good hard nosed zone defense, and held Jordan to 28 points, and we ended up going on a 3rd quarter run of 18-6 and closed the quarter up by 8. The fourth quarter was more of the same, as we executed and played the running game to perfection. We ended up winning by 17 I think, but it was a fun game nonetheless.
I can honestly say that was the most fun that I have had playing a basketball game. I really enjoy playing more than one player though. I think it is fun if it is 4 on 4 human players or something (if that is possible). So if anyone wants to play some, lets get some good games going. I stayed up until 4 am Eastern time, and had to be at work at 7, so I am going through some sleep deprivation.
