After going through 2 copies of ballers and 3 Xbox's (under warrantee) and beeing sure to get the samsung DVD rom. it was still freezing. So i called midways tech support. and they tell me to turn off auto save (already did that), and that the game has High Definition problems. i was told to turn off 720p and 1080i in my video settings. and that fixed it. i think the game was actually running in 720p because when i turned it off i could swear i noticed a drop in resolution. those of you who have been having the same problem are probably all high def users. it hasnt frozen on me sense. hope this helps.........

I posted that solution a few days ago , but I didn't have a freezing problem. My screen was totally blank with no sound. -

I had sound and all, mine would freeze at the loading and saving screen after every 2 or three matches. Sorry if it's a double post. but i think its a diff. issueComment
