    Re: Tips

You have to be active on defense. If a player's always driving on you, start jabbing for the ball. That is, lightly tap the steal button, but beware of your timing or you'll draw a lot of fouls. If you do it enough, the player ends up having to stop his dribble and pass the ball or shoot. You could also change up your defense in-game so the team doesn't get used to the way you play D. You can double the ballhandler, pressure him in the backcourt, or pick up pressure in the frontcourt. Gotta be able to stay in front of your man. If the guy tends to try to plow you over and you continually get called for blocking fouls, then always be ready with the take charge button so you can draw offensive fouls on him. Always keep poking at the ball (you might draw some fouls at first, but if you do this intelligently you won't pick up too many fouls and you'll be more effective on D). It's going to be necessary to foul people to throw off their rhythm from time to time and force them to the line. Sometimes you really want to slow the game down, or pick the pace up.

Thanks Neo, is there anyway I can get my pg to come to the ball to start the break? My pg just keeps running down court to receive the pass near their bucket. I have tried going to tendencies and setting the pg to rebound and not go for the break, but it didn't work. Any suggestions?
