Which basketball game was better last year?

I played ESPN and did not like it at all. I didnt play live because of how bad 2003 was, but was wondering what peoples opinion of the two were. I want a good basketball game but can never get one to my liking. Was Live 2004 better or was it the same rehash. I am excited about the games this year so I thought I would ask this and maybe try live 2004 for the pc to see if I like it. Thanks for your help!

i played one full game of live, all year...it was by far the more fun game, imo


2k4 just left too many things out

2004 was more complete in what they were trying to accomplish

Live was better than 2K4, Inside Drive was better than them all.

i had a ps2 so college hoops was the best. sega 2k1 was the best of all.

i had a ps2 so college hoops was the best. sega 2k1 was the best of all.

Well if you get Live 2004 for PC you can download loads of patches to fully customize the game.

I imagine the PC version is similar to the XBOX version I have, it has alot of good things in there but some flaws also 1.) non-existant offensive rebounding 2.) too many fast breaks 3.) In dynasty the player progression is messed up 4.) the CPU always double teams you in the post, even when its a bad player who shouldn't get double teamed

I don't know if the patches deal with those issues or not. Personally I think the best basketball game last year was NBA Inside Drive 2004.

College hoops 2k4 gets my vote. I wasnt feeling any of the pro games last year.
