So instead of trolling boards and so (just kidding), I wrote the good people at High Voltage about the future of the Inside Drive series and here is the response i got:

Hi!
Thanks for the email. High Voltage Software is no longer involved with the Inside Drive series. If it continues, it will be crafted by another developer or an internal Microsoft team.
We're glad you enjoyed the franchise while we created it. We are proud of the things we were able to do with the series.
Thanks again!

Maybe this is old news, but it's REALLY sad if Microsoft drops the series.
Is it just me, or are the game review magazines/websites partly to blame for the fall of Inside Drive? For as far back as i remember, Live allways get the best scores (even back in 2000 when that years Live was basicly unplayable it still got great reviews in the magazines). EA must do something right when it comes to rubbing reviewers the right way.
ESPN (Sega NBA2kX) allways got pretty good reviews but with Inside Drive allways ranked lower.
I'm still scratching my head to how the other games can get such high scores this year with the games as annoyingly flawed as they are.
Maybe I have just been too spoiled by the best AI a basketball game has ever see for 3 years with Inside Drive.
Inside Drive needs to come back in 2006!
