    NBA PLAYGROUNDS. DUNKS. NEEd help!!please

    Guys I just bought this game and I must say I do enjoy it alot but I would enjoy it alot more if I knew how to dunk or make layups..

    I have PS4

    Can anyone explain HOW we do moves to dunk. Then there is times I go for a layup and it says LATE. I miss so many easy 2's.. So now the only way I play really is by killen the CPU in just 3's..

    I love using Kevin Johnson and Danny Ainge... But KJ is nasty at 3's..

    I did learn that if you time ur shot right u get 3 points +1..

    There are times I hold the right buttons to dunk but sometimes they dont dunk and then I hold it too long n miss . Is there a part on the screen I need to look to follow the release or something??

    I also wish they had a season mode bc when your done tourneys all we can do is exhibition or tourneys

    But any help on how I do tricks on dunks n how to score on layups with out saying to LATE will be so helpful..

      If you're out of turbo, you won't be able to dunk.

          It's a very early release with the layups.

          If it says late then make it earlier.

          The timing for a layup is litteraly releasing the shot button after half a second or a *little* more than that. It's very early.

          As for the dunks, I just hold it for a second or a second and a half and I make most of it

              Thanks for the tips, I really need them. This game def has a learning curve. I miss a lot of shots I would make in NBA Jam. A little frustrating, but makes me want to play more to learn when to shoot. Adds a lot of depth to the game in a good way.

                  It's even worse when you've been playing NBA 2K. you almost do the opposite with all the shooting.
