It sounds like the coaching settings are off. I've had to change mine sereval times so that my team plays like they are suppose to when I simulate. For the most part I only lose to lower rated teams when I'm having a bad week or when I'm beating everybody and due for a let down game. I usually beat the lower rated teams thoughs but I usually lose to good teams by a few pts. so I play those to have a good game anyways.

The simulation in this game is WAAAY off.
Check the polls at the end of the season in dynasty and you'll probably see at least one top 5 team with 10 or more losses. That NEVER happens in the real deal. The #1 team on this game usually approaches 10 losses. That would NEVER, EVER happen for real. Realistic simulation would have top 5 records along the lines of 35-3, 32-6, 31-4, 29-6, and so on. I would dare say you'd have to go back to the late 80s (maybe Louisville 87 or 88) to find a preseason #1 who lost 10 games.
My solution was to drop this game and go back to 2k5. Better sim, and I personally like the gameplay better.Comment

Re: The simulation in this game is terrible
A new simulation engine has already been confirmed for 2k7, hopefully it will improve these issues that have been holding the Legacy mode back these last couple of years.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment
