When I go to team select for an exhibition, the Boston College uniforms are wrong. They are white and purple, not red.

Has anyone had any trouble with the sim not responding?
I'm on my 6th season in the game. 3 weeks into the season the sim will just stop. At the bottom I can see the score for a game that just finished, but it will not let me begin playing my next game.

So I know it has been 4 years since anyone posted in this thread, but I wanted to add something. After updating rosters, any team with a long name (I play as Virginia Commonwealth), gets cut off. CH only lets you have a name up to a certain amount of characters. Once they are edited, they are only referred to as "home team" or "away team." Although it is not a big deal, it is still annoying, especially when the selection sunday show refers to you as the away team...anyone else have this problem or a possible fix?

I also hate how dopey the players are. I play with a fullcourt trap 100% of the time and get lots of tips and turnovers. However, so many times my team will tip the ball away and just stand there watching as it rolls away instead of pouncing on it like in real life. The response time is pathetic...

the one legacy issue I hate that stops me from playing extended time is lack of fast breaks. Its frustrating at times.

I see them all the time. Probably just my slider set though. I think it has to do with player speed.

I agree! There have been so many times that I will get the ball away from the other team, only to have my player stand there and watch as it rolls out of bounds, or stand there and watch as the other team runs back over to get it. I know this was made back in 2008...but in most real life situations the players would be diving all over those loose balls.

There was one time where my player actually did dive for the loose ball, but he was right by the half court line. When he brought his arm back to pass it, the game called a back court o.O

The problem you are referring to occurs if you edit a school, not a player or a coach. So if you want to name a coach, do it in the coaches menu and not edit school menu.


There used to be a great workaround: you could download a roster where some idiot named the coaches in the wrong spot and then go to play online where it would reset the rosters (and team names), but keep the players named. Then save the roster and you'd have all the original rosters with named players. Unfortunately, no more server as of like a year and a half ago.


Another thing, when editing a school it resets the coach's time there. I edited orange out of Memphis' colors and I noticed Cal was in his first year after that. It bothered me to the point I just use everything default.

At the end of the season where you see who won the championship, the player of the year, the conference champions, etc. when I clicked the right bumper on a player to see his stats for the year the game froze a few times. For instance, clicking the right bumper to see the player ratings, tendencies graph, statistics, it will freeze when on this end of the year screen.

Hi Guys, If anyone has a fix for the intentional fouls not working it would be greatly appreciated! If you are not familiar with what I am talking about when a game is close players will automatically hack me or I will hack them and the refs do not blow the whistle. You can have an amazingly fun game and it gets ruined down the stretch cause the refs stop making calls. This just started for me last week and I have no idea why! Please help! Thanks

I downloaded the 2015-2016 roster for College Hoops 2k8, PS3. Maryland has white jerseys for home and away (must be a bug). Is there a way to edit the jerseys back to the original?

No, whenever the last patch came out for the game, 2k messed them up
