Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

year 1 South Dakota St. 10-19 (7-11) first round conference tourney exit
year 2 South Dakota St. 19-15 (15-3) first round NIT exit
    year 3 South Dakota St. 3-0 (0-0)

year two, lost by 6 to Xavier (NIT) in a back and forth game which I wasn't expecting, had a chance to win down 52-51 with 13 seconds to go. I got the ball after Xaviers two made freethrows, they pressed and I threw the damn ball away (go figure). I lost nobody this year so only getting 1 mid-major offer (Louisiana Laffeyette) I decided to stay for another year. I did get a 3* sg and a 4* JUCO pg. We seem to be playing better than expected this year as we are 3-0 with a huge road win @ Oregon, trying to get a 4* SF but it's not really looking like it's gonna happen so maybe we can have a really good year so i can bolt.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I'm still on 2K7 (360) playing coach mode as I see no reason to upgrade at this point. Still at Winthrop with a current record of 10-4 in the 2010-11 season. I'm not anticipating next season as my starting PG (Big South Ast Leader), starting SG (2nd in Big South in Scoring) and starting C (Big South Rebounding Leader) are all Sr this year and will be graduating. I have the Big South scoring leader in Jr SF Stalin O'Hara as well. He may or may not bolt for the bright lights and big dollars of the NBA. I hope he comes back to Rock Hill as he'll be needed next season.

On the bright side, all of the 2nd teamers who'll be starting next season already see significant minutes so we shouldn't have TOO MUCH of a dropoff.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Well, I won the SoCon Tournament with Elon in year 1 after a tremendous back and forth championship game against UNC-Greensboro. I actually trailed by as many as 12 in the 2nd half before going on a hellacious run that put me in the lead by 7. I held on, hit my free throws, and won by 10.

So...it was onto the NCAA Tournament, where I was a 10th seed, going up against 7th seeded Tennessee State. This team liked to hold the ball til the last second on the shot clock, so it was a low scoring affair, with me coming out on top, 61-51.

My next opponent...2nd seeded Memphis. I'm not looking forward to that one. Ahh well...it's been a good year for the Phoenix.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I'm in my second year at Morehead St. First year I went 19-12 or something very close to that, won my conference tourney, lost in the first round as a #13 seed.

Offseason recruiting, I picked up a 4 star Junior College C who is 6'10" named Todor Starks. He is an absolute beast and totally takes this team to the next level. I think he is only about a 70 rating though. I also picked up a freshman 3 star PG who also starts.

Those 2 players have made all the difference, Starks is averaging 27 pts a game(3rd in the nation) and 8 boards. He just does not miss shots in the paint. My PG, Rans Hurley, is an 81 three point shooter as a frosh and he is averging over 8 assists a game. Adding these 2 players has really made games much easier. The first year I struggled in almost every game. This year I usually pull away in the second half. The record this year is 10-2 right now.

First season with Monmouth University, 3-3 so far. It's definitely a challenge.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Ive finally got to my 3rd team, 2023 and im at Arkansas. I weird cause every year i've went to a team with the same colors. First SC, then UMASS now Arkansas. Got the last achievement for going up in conferences. Now i gotta wait til Maryland has a job offering, i really want to coach them. I still find it hard to recruit, but really don't many good players really come here, so i'm not too mad. I think from now on im gonna keep leaving teams, til i find one i really like. Well i think i might stop writing til i finally get to MD. PEACE

Man , I just got fired after 2 seasons at Indiana, They had no one over 75 when i came and when i left they had 2 star players, but in the 2 years i was there, they both had atleast 6 more losses then wins, i didnt even know you could get fired, it hurt.

I started off playing every game but got tired of it pretty quickly, as I wanted to advance as quickly as I could to get to a good school where I could compete. It took a year of playing and 10 years of simming to make my progression from North Florida to Pacific to Montana State to Hawaii to George Mason to West Virgina. Pretty much I bolted after 2 years at every school, with Pacific being the exception (3 years). As soon as I got to WV, I promptly pulled in a top 20 recruiting class to go with a team with a 95 overall rating. It is time to play again and win some championships until Indiana opens up, as that is ultimately where I want to be.

After you got fired, did you have offers from smaller schools?
