Our only way to get into the tournament is to win the tournament. There is no other way we can make it. Too many bad losses to teams like Towson and James Madison, who only combine for 13 wins. It's tough, but I mean 14-11 is better than 12-17.

In the conference tournament (we have 3 games left) I don't think we have a chance. Hofstra and UNC Wilmington (competing for the 4th seeds in the NCAA tournament) are there. They've destroyed us. It'll take a miracle run to make it into the tourney.

I always find that in nourishment I play my best game because I know there's no tomorrow. Luck!

I was on All-Conference, bumped up to All-American for 3 games but it was still easy for me. So I just bumped up to MOP and play 6-7 UCONN next year.

Are you using default sliders? Try MKHarsh's as they may give you more difficulty as well.

I used rspenser's All-Conference sliders. Just changed the difficulty to MOP.

First game on MOP, beat UCONN by 10, but the game was much closer than score indicated. I was only up 3 at half time and made the FTs at the end of the game to seal the win.

Edit: Got my first L vs. Seton Hall. My team couldn't make a shot until the end, I was down 18 with about 8 minutes to go and got it down to single digits but couldn't make the comeback. I like MOP, I have to work harder to get points lol.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Just won the Big Ten Tournament to go along with my regular season title and my Buckeyes are 33-0 now. Beat Wisconsin 91-52, Michigan 77-37, and then Minnesota 65-55. I was very surprised at the first two games as I normally don't get many blowouts, but we were just on it. Then came the Minnesota championship game and we went 1-19 from 3 and shot 32% from the field, so I guess it's feast or famine for the tourney.

We got the #1 overall seed, and have a pretty easy path to the Final Four. Currently riding a 47 game winning streak, including 62 straight at home. Hopeful that I can win my 2nd straight national championship, as I'm losing anywhere from 4-5 starters after the season and we are in for a rebuilding period.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

My second full season at Kansas State started strong, then got submarined by a weak out of conference schedule and a 5 game losing streak to end the season (including one and done in the conference tournament). I was the top seed in the NIT, meaning I was the least team out of the NCAA Tournament (Drake got in though. yeah, Drake!).

I started 4 freshmen and one senior. With unity effect slider set to 100, we sure were streaky. It was a roller coaster.

Got some sweet revenge in the NIT. My best 3 point shooter was hurt during that 5 game losing streak, and I got him back and he picked up around where he left off. his offense was enough to carry me to the NIT final. I faced Oklahoma, who had beaten me earlier in the Big 12 by 31. I returned the favor with a 34 point victory.

I didn't make the big dance, but I did improve my perilous job status after my first year enough to get a 3 year extension. And this year's going to be fun. I'm bringing in 5 star recruits and an 83 OVR guy who sat due to transferring last year. I better make the NCAAs this year, but the Big 12 is really strong. It's going to be rough in conference.

As usual, link to Dyansty Thread is in the sig.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I'm in my 3rd year at Michigan State, currently ranked 7th in the country at 16-2 and I'm getting ready to play Minnesota who is ranked 3rd at 17-1 and in first place in the Big 10. I just gave Purdue it's first conference win of the year though and am on a 2 game losing streak so this is a big game.

I doubt this is anything but a coincidence, but earlier in the year I played Miami (OH) and destroyed them, except for their starting center who is from where Michigan State is located and he put up a monster game (28 points, 17 rebounds, 6 blocks and 4 assists) and I thought that was interesting that he played his best game against the team where he was from.

I beat Minnesota 73-62. Even though the score indicated it was a semi-close game, it wasn't at all I just made a ton of mistakes. The worst thing was my free throw shooting, I went 11-30 from the line. My 4 guards that normally are in the rotation went 1-10 combined, that is just awful, it's a good thing I had this game mostly in control or that could have came back to screw me, and it might if I shoot like that come tournament time.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Just got knocked out by Maryland in the second round of the tournament. I shot 38%, which is something that you just can't do and still win a game. As a #2 seed, I was hoping for a lot better, but that's how it goes I guess.

A look at next years roster:

                      Wilbekin (83)/Ogbouze (72)
                      Hill (81)/Frazier (77)
                      Finney-Smith (81)/Prather (79)
                      Walker (79)/Yeguete (79)
                      Young (83)/Harris (78)

So as you can see, I'm going to be incredibly solid this year. I don't know how the minutes will work out, but I'm guessing I'll start Hill (who is a PG) and Wilbekin and only use Ogbouze sparingly. Hate to sit seniors Prather and Yeguete, but I'm not sure I have enough scoring on the floor without DFS and Walker.

Just beat Miami in the conference tourney with my Duke team. They beat us early in the season so this was great payback. Wake forest is up next and hopefully UNC in the championship game. I'm looking passed wake at this point. We have a #4 ranking at the moment trying to get a #1 seed in the Ncaa tourney. Louisville, miss St (1 loss all season), Florida St, and Stanford are the number ones as of now. Uconn and Colo might take a spot if they win their respective conference championships.

Love love this game! I play most if not all of my games if yall were wondering.

Quick question for you guys. Are the majority of you guys coaching from the sidelines or are you actually controlling your team, yet just playing in the career legacy mode?

VandyRedskins and I are the only ones that I know of that are avid coach moders. I imagine most of the guys here play the games, though I will not speak for them.

I'm not a heavy nba guy so this gameplay holds up for me. Coaching in this game stresses me out. I have to play with them. Total control.

I have tried a couple times to do an indepth year to year post, but i keep getting auto logged out. So heres a summary...

                                07-08 UNF 29-6 16-0 ncaa 2nt rd 8 seed, lost in 2nd rd to 1 seed Kansas
                                08-09 UNF 29-5 15-1 ncaa 1st rd 5 seed, lost to 12 seed UW-Milwaukee
                                09-10 UNF 20-12 16-0 ncaa 1st rd 15 seed, lost to 1 seed Duke
                                10-11 UNF 28-8 15-1 ncaa 1st rd 13 seed, lost to 4 seed Syracuse(i think)
                                11-12 UNF 28-7 16-0 ncaa 1st rd 11 seed, lost to 6 seed Xavier(i think)
                                12-13 UNF 34-0 16-0 ncaa 3 seed, beat 14 seed Penn in 1st rd....TBC

I have had no success in the tourney. I have been able to recruit very good players in comparison to what i face in my conference leading to these bloated records. I have little to no success in the non conference schedule, i win sometimes, but mostly schedule HBCU's outside the preseason tournaments to get a decent record heading in to conf play. But i dont recommend this as a building process. As you can see ive done next to nothing when it counts. I slacked on recruitng 1 season and you can see what happened without me pointing it out. It does appaer that i have build a solid enuf team to compete finaly but it took 6 seasons to get here. Hopefuly this works out. FYI, both my conf losses came to rival JU in the conf. The team im waiting out to hopefuly take over, my home school. Unfortunately they seem to finish 2nd or 3rd every year with 20+ wins, so im still hoping
