I had the most fun in my closed legacy at Liberty. I liked the challenge, the middle years at Tusla were the most boring for me, it got a lot more fun once I moved to a BCS school.

Here is the career of coach A.C. Slater. I have been playing this same career for 3 years + now. I used a roster file from 07-08. Not sure what sliders I use but it was the #1 ranked slider set when I downloaded it from 2kshare. I run a uptempo, fast break, crash boards, & bomb 3's style of play. I sub 5 at a time so play a core of 10 players. I also play every game so that is why it has taken me 3 years to get this far.

Nice Job Jbrew very impressive specially at Campbell where yr seating cap is 974 seats. ( i believe the shortest in the game). I finished my yr 2 with CCU I went 19-15 and made the Big Dance by winning the Conference Tourney my 2nd in a row. I landed my 7'1 244 C, which will help with rebounds it was very obvious in my Tourney game vs Duke (i lost 93-92) I needed size for rebounds. I got lucky and my top scorer didn't go into the draft. lost 3 Sr's on my starting 5 so another young group this yr. I hired another coach to help with the development of my young guys. so i open with Lipscomb. so far i have finished 2nd & 3rd in Conference with 2 Tourney Titles.

07-08-34-4- C-Usa Tourney Champs and National Champs
08-09-19-15-C-Usa Tourney Champs and lost in the 1st Round of the Ncaa Tourney.

Just started a legacy with Florida Gulf Coast. First game was @ Bethune-Cookman.

2 times I had the lead, blew it, was down by 10, and then came back. Down by 2 with 17 seconds left, my point guard nails a three, which gives us the win. Reed Baker was the POTG with 37 points and 7 assists. I love it already.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I recently started a new closed dynasty with Florida Gulf Coast. I started the season at a tourney in St Pete. The opener was not good, as Notre Dame ran all over me. I ended up losing 91-55, as I just didn't have an answer to their offense. I played much better for the second game against Wichita State, leading for much of the game on the way to a 68-61 win.

The final game of the tourney was against Charlotte. I fell behind 16-7 early before going on a 13-4 lead to take a 20-19 lead midway through the first half. Charlotte retook the lead and went up 32-24 at the half. My defense fell apart in the second half, as Charlotte repeatedly killed me in the paint. They shot 75% for the game, with many of those being layups as I just could not stop them from getting inside. They won easily 77-55 to drop me to 1-2.

I have found recruiting quality players easy as long as you win and look for 3* players that want to go to power schools, also check the ABL stats they don't lie. This is one of the ways I was able to win at Campbell. I went after players that wanted to go to Duke or UNC but didn't get an offer. Also found that recruiting to your style is a major key to winning games. I like 3 good 3 point shooters, a PF with good mid-range game, and a big C who can rebound. With those players I can hang with anyone. That is how I think I have been so successful.

I lost by 20 at Bradley for pretty much the same reason. I played close with Arizona State, leading for much of the game. Baker hit a big 3 to tie the game at 61 with 39 seconds left, but Arizona State hit a 3 with 1 second left on the shot clock to take a 64-61 lead with 4.3 seconds to go. I threw a quick inbounds pass to half court to try and get a shot before the defense got back, but the pass sailed out of bounds to cost me the game. I'm now 1-4 and finally will have a home game against Longwood.

Then I just played what might be the weirdest game I have played in 2k8. It was a snooze-fest, at Alcorn State(2-10). I found out why they only have two wins. SLOOOOOWPOOOOOKE offense that can't make a shot. They ran the shot clock down to 5-7 seconds EVERY possession and usually it ended in me stealing/blocking or them just missing it horribly. Of course my guys were not doing much better, missing way too many shots than I would like them to.

Final score? 43-25, I won. If my guys had brought their A-game, it would have been a serious blowout. 18-14 was the half time score, I decided to up the defensive pressure and push my offensive tempo up, essentially try to spice up a very boring game. Didn't work that well, but all in all I can't complain with a victory.

                              I'm now 7-4, 3-1 in the SWAC.
Time to catch up on this thing. Conference play is in full swing and it's getting really competitive. I've played some excellent games.
-vs Texas Southern. Win, 51-50. Hard fought game, came down to a last second shot that TexSo missed, would have won them the game.

-vs Prairie View. Win, 49-42. They gave me a hard time early, but I made some adjustments at the half and was able to pull away. Whole team struggled to hit shots and get fast break points.

-at Jackson St. Win, 63-49. Unexpected win over the top team in the conference and the only other team with an overall winning record in the conference at the time of playing the game. This put me alone at the top of the conference. My team was just on, Derron Hobbs put up 19 points, 6 rebs, 3 assists, and 4 steals. Usually when he does that well, the rest of the team follows suit and it's a W.

-at Ark.-Pine Bluff. Loss, 49-52. APB is a middle of the road team by SWAC standards. This game left me wondering...Was this the same Grambling team that played Jackson St? Just a bad game. They opened the game with a 20-5 lead, I miraculously cut that to 27-22 at the half. Tied 49-49 with time stretched thin, I missed a go ahead bucket. They held the ball, pushed it inside as time was running out. Their PF put up a floater that went in and he was fouled with .9 to go. He made the ensuing free throw. Disgusting way to lose.

Grambling sits at 10-5, 6-2. Second place behind Jackson State who is 15-7, 6-2. I've got Mississippi Valley State up next and then it's playing the second games against everyone in the conference. 10 games to go in the regular season.

Just had a great game against Austin Peay in a tournament. I was down 10 at half, and then came back multiple times, but couldn't take the lead. Then, with 19 seconds to go (reminds me of the Bethune-Cookman game I had) Varibel nails a three as I win 64-63.

EDIT: I forgot about Reed Baker. Double-Double, 20 points, 10 assists

EDIT #2: Up against Valaprasio in the South Padre B Final. They're 3-0, on flukes. But a score shocked me.

                                Iowa 64, Bradley 98
I guess Bradley is a pretty good team.
