Incredible how all you need is some update rosters and this game feels jut as exciting as the first time you ever played it. This game still runs so smooth its ridiculous

Still the best game ever made. Started up a CL with Maryland-Eastern Shore. I have last year's rosters because 2k Share shut down but I am still happy knowing my rosters are only 1 year out of date for a game that is almost 5 years old!

UMES is BAD. It should be fun, I hope to just get them competing in their conference, I have 7 seniors with one rated as a 72. I expect many iso plays for him. I will try and sign some world recruits and JuCo players as they give you the quickest return for a struggling program. Just talking about this is getting me excited!

Crazy how I dont even care for basketball games but i keep coming back to this game when college basketball season starts. Probably the greatest game I've ever played.

Anybody else strangely find their College Hoops 2k8 disc often sitting in their consoles even though you got a copy of NBA 2k13 sitting right next to it? Can't explain it other than I have a passion for college basketball. haha

yup. teh programers did something evry special with this game. that has yet to be duplicated. THE NBA 2k series is an awesom experience but it still isnt CH2k8.
and I think I figured out why- it seems as though the developers in CH2k8 really put in some human like tendencies in the CPU game play.
when I mean human like I mean like the little things
-like players reaching from the back when they get beat
-players going for steals when the ball is exposed
-player collision
-the atmosphere
-natural looking errant passes by the CPU controlled teams
-the natural pull up jumpers
- the number of pass options
-the endless amount fo animations
-player reactions

The game is really life like when playing the CPU?AI controlled teams. thats the reason

This game is my bball version of super tecmo bowl, I still play that game for fun. Graphics are not mind blowing, nothing is perfect but it's just plan fun. I repurchased this and forgot how good the game was, I've been playing NCAA basketball 10 the last few years thinking I had the better game, picked this up dirt cheap and I wont go back.

I spent a couple hours editing cryqes roster last night so I can start a new legacy. I just started with Brad Stevens and Butler to try and duplicate the run they made. I don't see him staying forever though, at least not in this version...

First game, 59-39 win at Ball State.

I picked this game up yesterday at gamestop for 7$, WOW. I had never played it before, but this game is amazing! I havent won a game yet in my closed Southern University (LA) closed dynasty! Its really hard. What sliders, min, & difficulty are you guys playing on?

Currently Im playing on Starter 13 min and default sliders. I have been playing 2k13 alot so maybe thats why my learning curve is taking a bit longer!

I picked this up early in the fall (first time ever!) and I have to admit that the oldness of the game and playing NBA 2k13 made me kind of say "meh". Since starting up a Montana St Legacy with updated rosters, finding my team's strengths and using them to my advantage, and engrossing myself in recruiting and following the comings and goings around the country I must say I am absolutely hooked. This is game is getting some serious play time from me and I have almost completely forgotten about 2k13.

Yea, I was in the playoffs on 2k13 and decided to give ch a try & it hasnt come out since! Crazy addicting! Too bad work & responsibilities get in the way lol

I don't play the majority of my games, but over the 3-4 years I've had this game I have probably gone through over 150 seasons. I've finished a Legacy mode once.

since Ive started my legacy years ago. I havent simmed, I d say, more than 5 games, and those games were simmed because there wasnt an in game save feature, and I had to go out.

I played through all the tiimes Ive been blown out and vice versa. Ive played through all my losing seasons, and I have alot of those.
