    Re: Recruiting Priorities

Yeah, after the first year Maryland got like 2 5* PG's, I just finish in season recuiting, and the got 2 more. Other than that it seems pretty balanced. If using open legacy u can always edit them

        Re: Recruiting Priorities

While messing around with Recruiting Priorities for the Power conferences, I came to the conclusion that (Skills & Size) was the best way to go.

I simmed 5 years ahead and looked at how they stacked up, while some did overload on big men (about 1 or 2 Teams per conference), it is alot better than not having them go after big men at all. Besides, you can edit the undersized PF's into SF's.

        1st recruiting priority = Skills
        2nd recruiting priority = Size

So, is it like 1-2 pf/c's and like 1 g each year? for most of power conferences? that's pretty good all i have to do is edit them...

I don't understand the question. I'm saying that 1 or 2 teams out of the Power Conferences might have too many big men.

But keep in mind, Those power conf asst coaches will adopt their head coach's priorities once the become the coach at a small school

I know, but currently Major & Mid-Major schools get more big men than the Power schools. I'm going to test to see what happens if I edit the entire NCAA's recruiting priorities the same.

                  Re: Recruiting Priorities

After playing thru 6 years it's very balanced. Sweet 16 on had 2 upsets, big men r spread out and the records r realistic. Only problem I have is major coaches don't leave for power conferences. Oh well not jukeman's fault, thanks alot I'm really satisfied at how it turned out

Anyone have updates to suggest for this based on coaching/style changes?

For Iowa I think it should be shooting and skills now since Fran is running the show.

Just bumping this thread because it's so useful.

I've just finished manually going through all the teams recruiting priorities and my eyes want to pop out. Not helped by the fact that I'm using a SD TV (which makes the text on the menus sooooo hard to read) coupled with the fact that the game crashed half-way through.

                          But it's done and I'm happy. Rosters set...coaching set....sliders set.....legacy go!

Thanks for all the hard work on this thread guys.

Is there any way to adjust the coaching profiles like this AFTER you've started the legacy? I don't want to restart but I'm curious about changing this stuff.

                            NBA: Bucks

You can change the profiles of all in legacy, not sure about closed (pretty sure you can), but you can't change their recruiting priorities once you're in legacy.
