Re: The Ultimate Conf. Realignment for 2014 and beyond............
I would love it and it's amazing I still find so much value in this game. I wish it had better graphics and other things but I'd throw some money in. I still dream of a next gen bball game. I would probably pay $200http://pcfriars1213.blogspot.com/ - Coaching Career of Ed Cooley College Hoops 2k8Comment

Re: The Ultimate Conf. Realignment for 2014 and beyond............
It took me quite awhile. It isn't exact, but pretty close. Here is a rundown:
Mountain West moved to the Colonial (current roster of 11 schools, plus New Mexico St)
Conference USA (12 teams: ECU, Charlotte, Marshall, MTSU, Rice, FIU, S Miss, Tulane, Tulsa, UAB, FAU, UTEP)
Big East moved to the Horizon (current Big East roster)
Ivy League (same)
Metro Atlantic (added Quinnipiac and removed Loyola(MD))
Mid-American (same)
Mid-Eastern (same)
Missouri Valley (removed Creighton, added Loyola(IL))
Colonial moved to the Mountain West (current roster)
Northeast (current roster of 10 (minus Bryant, + Monmouth and Old Dominion - I had no fit for ODU)
Ohio Valley (added UMKC....better Geographic fit than Belmont...)
West Coast moved to the Pac-10 (added Pacific and BYU, current roster)
Summit moved to the Patriot (current roster without South Dakota and Nebraska-Omaha, added Chicago State and Southern Utah)
Sun Belt moved to the SEC (current roster plus North Texas and Louisiana Tech)
Southern (same)
Southland (the current roster has a bunch of schools not in the game so I went with Central Arkansas, Lamar, McNeese St, Nicholls St, Northwestern St, Sam Houston St, SE Louisiana, SF Austin, UT-Pan American, Oral Roberts, TXAM-CC, UT-San Antonio)
SWAC (same)
Patriot moved to the Summit
Atlantic-10 moved to the Sun Belt (current roster)
American Athletic replaces the West Coast (without Louisville and SMU)
Horizon replaces WAC (current roster)
America East (removed Boston (to Patriot) and added NJIT since Mass-Lowell is not in game)
Pac-12 moved to ACC (current roster)
Atlantic Sun (current roster (minus Northern Kentucky) plus Belmont, Campbell, Gardner-Webb)
SEC moved to Atlantic-10 (current roster)
ACC moved to Big East (added Louisville and kept Maryland)
Big Sky (same)
Big South (same)
Big XII moved to the Big Ten (added SMU)
Big Ten moved to the Big XII (did NOT add Rutgers or Maryland)
Big West (added Hawaii and moved Pacific to WCC)
This took me awhile and I had to compromise on some of the smaller leagues, but this is pretty close to how the college landscape looks now. The only problem is that recruiting may be affected as leagues are assigned a Conference Size tag which I think, affects recruiting. Anyways, there it is.
I wish that I could move my current dynasty into this format, but I cannot.Comment

Re: The Ultimate Conf. Realignment for 2014 and beyond............
Has anyone actually realigned the conferences and then simmed a bunch of years to see exactly what happens? I would love to see the swing in recruiting and how long it would take. I'm interested in doing the swapping, but not at the risk of recruiting/power conference let downs.
If someone has done it, please post results.Comment

Re: The Ultimate Conf. Realignment for 2014 and beyond............
Question....
Is there anywhere I can find the teams that are included and the conferences and amount of teams I can have in those conferences?
I usually like doing my realignments geographically and to do that, I usually setup a spreadsheet, but its easier to do if the info is already out there....
Its so much easier to do on NCAAF14 when you can add to the conf size, but Im sure it would be possible to get great geographical settings even with this game--If you need it, you don't have it. If you have it you don't need it. But if you need and you don't have it, you want it. If you don't have any of it, then you really don't know how to get more of it to get started then anyways now do you? --Comment
