If anyone is interested in tackling some of the smaller conferences, the opportunity is there.
Who else do u have helping u?

If u need someone to pitch in, I'll do some. Just tell me what u need, and if there is a specific formula that you use when grading players.

Right now, it's just me working on these. Luke had RL commitments and handed it off after completing 6-7 conferences.

If you're interested in helping, I'd be happy to spell out how we've been updating teams. I'll post something here when I have a chance to put something coherent together.

None of the small conferences have been updated, so they all are likely still the 2008-09 rosters, unless Luke did some that I don't know about.

The Big East and ACC are done, or at least from what I understand. They have been edited to the point where there are no players that shouldn't be on the rosters e.g. graduates and draftees. Last I checked the lineups and rotations weren't official or anything. I can't speak on the player ratings themselves though because I'm not 100% positive on the subject.

                  You're right--he opted to play overseas: http://msn.foxsports.com/cbk/story/9...overseas-trend

I'll remove him from the roster.

The attached Excel file details the basic approach I've been using to update the rosters.

BTW, now that the official team sites have rosters posted, I'm going through the Power conferences that Luke did several months ago and updating them, mostly player numbers for freshmen and the few recent roster changes. Big 10, ACC and Big East are updated. They should have all the scholarship players and at least enough walk-ons to make a 12-man roster.

UGH! Somehow, both my working file and backup lost all the edits I made last night, despite multiple alternating saves between the main and backup file. 6+ hours of editing CUSA, the ACC, & Big East down the drain . . .

Even the edits I made on the roster currently on 2K Share are gone??? How does this happen?!?

I'm throwing in the towel on this project. Waaaay to much time and effort to rely on unstable hardware/software. I'm not going to waste any more time on what could be a corrupted file.

                      Bummer.

Hey guys, i just stumbled on this forum. what is the roster file named on 2kshare?
Also just an fyi, i have been slowly working on updating the rosters, but when i am connected to xboxlive and i make a player edit it tells me that my roster contains fouls language? what is that about?

Lol, I feel for you man. I'm pretty sure though I actually do have OCD. Ever since playing Hexic, and this game on the computer where you have to cross a map in the least amount of moves I've been obsessed with doing things in the least amount of steps. For instance when I start up CH 2k8 I press start (1 move) then every push of the directional pad or buttons to load my Legacy are counted as well. If I do something unneccessary I feel like I I lost (press a button twice by accident or enter into the wrong menu, etc).

Sounds pathetic I know, anyway thanks for picking things back up again. Your work is still greatly appreciated.
