if you're using a formatted (via your 360) usb thumb drive, all you need to do is just put it in your 360 and copy the file. You shouldn't need to use Modio or that xstaf thing (or whatever it's called). 2K doesn't require profile changes to use rosters. Just copy the .ROS file - that's it.

      Re: Raiderfan's 2011-2012 Roster Project

I am using a 2 gig usb drive and I formatted it through the xbox 360. I then put the usb drive into my IMac and I go to move the 2012.ros to the usb drive and I keep getting the message "The item “2012.ROS” can’t be copied because there isn’t enough free space." The only thing on the usb drive is the xbox formatted information. Am I missing a step or is there something I am doing wrong??? Please Help!! I am dying to place this game with the current rosters. THANKS!!!

I have google everything about xbox and USB's and nothing comes up about these data files. I really would like to read what you find out about this. Thank you for being patient and helping.

you might try youtube. wish I could help but I don't use the USB but rather Xport and hook my 360 hard drive directly to my laptop using the microsoft transfer cable (which I HIGHLY recommend getting if you can).

                Re: Raiderfan's 2011-2012 Roster Project

First of all, let me say thanks for these rosters. With college bball starting in real life, I had a sudden urge to whip out 2k8 and was worried I wouldn't find any good rosters, but fortunately I was wrong. So, big thanks to raider. Also, to you guys having the problem of no memory space, I know what your problem is. When you format a flash drive, the XBox wants the transfer speed to meet certain requirements and if it doesn't (which a surprising amount of them don't, only one of my 3 flash drives meets the reqs. and I can't find it, which means I still don't have the updated rosters :/ ) it still formats it, but it uses all the rest of the space for "system memory." Basically, that just means you can save files to it while it's in the XBox, but if you try to use it anywhere else, you can't. Only solution I know of is to buy a higher end flash drive or use a transfer cable(if anyone else has any other solutions, feel free to correct me). Also, raider did you check all the Codys for the language filter? IDK if that's your problem, but I know, being my name is Cody and I tried to create myself and some friends and upload it, that Cody is almost always a problem. I usually just change it to Codi and that solves it. Anyway, thanks a ton and if I ever find my flash drive, I'll let you know how i like the update.

This Sucks! I went and got a 16 GB USB drive and did the format for 360 and everything was great. I go to copy the 2012ros file and it still says not enough room even though there is plenty of room and room to spare. Is 2kshare shut down for good on this game? Or do you think at some point rosters will be able to be uploaded again. My next step is to go buy that wire tomorrow and return this usb drive. Thanks

What about the PS3? Will this work for the PS3? Is the folder setup:

                        PS3 > SAVEDATA > 2012 ROS??

Which type of xbox do you have? The older one where you can pull the hard drive out or do you have a Xbox 360 S? I have an Xbox 360 S which has the internal hard drive but I also have the transfer cable from when I transfered my old stuff to the new xbox. I am going to download Xport to try to figure this thing out. Thank you for your input.
