Really? I just did the original burn and dodge, then duplicated the layers and stuff and messed with opacities. I'm done with unsharp mask, it makes pictures look bad.

By the way have you considered making a 300 dpi template for next year? I know we're probably aiming for one but have you started? I have the base for it but it'll be hard to do the grey bars, not to mention there is no guarentee it will be the same in '10. They might change the bars up. Although 07 and 08 had the same, so I would think 09 and 10 would. We'll have to see I guess.

At least we have the font, that is a huge advantage since we won't have to find it in the same size just to copy it over.

They grey bars wouldn't be that hard to make. I have InDesign CS2, it does all sort's of stuff like that. After it's made in InDesign it'll go to Photoshop for the final touches.

So basically you'd just vectorize the bars and transfer them over, yeah that would make it easier. I need to find out the font on the "featuring" so it would look better. I think we could make a pretty good template next year, we just kinda need to find out what it will look like.

I'll definitely contact you when '10 comes up, there is no need to do it now since I'm not really interested in doing a 300dpi for NCAA Basketball since there aren't that much good looking pictures on AP in the first place. But we don't even have to go full 300dpi, I'm sure 250 or 200 would do just fine since I have to shrink it down to 150dpi to make it fit on photobucket. We'll just have to discuss this when the time comes.

No offense to the maker of this one, but does anyone have a Blake Griffin one that looks more EA-like, like the real cover? Also one that has a better quality template? I need a Blake Griffin one for a friend, but i need it looking pretty legit because he doesnt like custom covers in general because they usually look so fake but I think he would like it if it looked like the real one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

That was the best picture of mr. griffin I could find anywhere on the internet. And you won't get any more accurate than that template.
