How do I setup PLAYER LOCK...?

I cant figure out how to choose player lock to play with just a position player thru the whole game

i don't think you can do it. unless i am mistaken, they don't have that as an option. i pm'ed the dev on here, (Jabstep), to ask if it's in, and have yet to receive a reply. skyboxer has the game and said there doesn't appear to be a way to position or player lock in the game. i have held off buying it for that very reason, though i am wavering.

I have also posted this question for Jabstep to answer too. No response either. But any developer can answer this question. Like I said before, it's a legitimate question and for a developer to not answer it is a slap in the face to the consumers who put down $65.00 for their game.

It goes to show you that we as the consumer do not come first, and you can't take anything for granted anymore when it comes to videogames put out by EA.

Shame on you EA for both not responding and not including a feature (the player/position lock) that should have been without question in this game.

No offense man, but EA and any other company's developers are not required to be on OS. We're lucky to have them here at all. The sense of entitlement around this place gets a bit outta hand sometimes.

I agree but if they do make an appearance they should continue to do so for pr sake. It appears to me that their appearance was simply to create interest.


I also agree that player-lock being left out shows their lack of knowledge about what makes a good game. How hard could this option be to add?

I can understand coach mode but not player lock.

The dynasty mode should be better than any other EA game. A good gaming company should work as a team to make the best game possible.

This is actually never the case. The NCAA Producers are not ever told they HAVE to be on any forum. Jabstep took it upon himself to post with you guys and trust me when I say this, he checks it daily.

Not every question will be answered guys. He has to actually be a producer.

So if I'm understanding your reply correctly, since you yourself never responded to the initial question, I will have to assume that the player lock feature is not being released in this year's product.

Did Jabstep or EA just fall off of the watermelon truck? It seems to me that if I was producing a basketball game I would first find what modes of play is important. I would not first make a game and then "check in to see" what I should have done!

Basketball video games have been around for several years. If just 10 OS basketball video gamers were asked what should be in the game BEFORE EA released the game, then EA implemented those suggestions, we would have a much better game.

It is insulting to me, for EA to think that I believe, that they just didn't know that coach mode, player lock or multiple dynasties were important.

Dynasty mode should be at least as good as the best EA product with dynasty mode.

up until you guys get a person's 60-65 bucks you are falling all over yourselves to be good pr guys, but the minute a post purchase question is asked then the "he has to be a producer" posts come. man up and say its not in the game instead of letting others do it for you. i'm not entitlement happy at all, but when someone who purchased the game (i have and its going back unopened) asks a question in a respectful way and the question is avoided, then that's weak especially when you compare that against all of the pre-release threads started by the devs wherein they welcome questions and dialogue. just seems like if you release a product you stand behind that product 100% (that includes answering questions about whether a feature is included or not).

Just a FYI, when producers are posting more often, it's because they finished the previous game and have more time. When the game ships, they're already working on the next.

It's never a slight against any of you. We just can't be on all the time to answer questions.

I don't expect anyone to understand this (why should you?), I'm just telling you guys the facts.
