    Re: Gameplay Wishlist

    1. the players on offense off the ball need to react to the situation a lot better. If my pg beats his man off the dribble and has a lane, then their center steps up to help, then why does my center always run away from the hoop like he thinks I want him to spot up for a 3 or something. If he just makes a little step toward the hoop I can dump it off to him for an easy dunk. Same thing on the fast breaks, people need to fill their lanes and go to the hoop. In situations like this you also need to eliminate the suction toward the defenses.

    2. The ability to seperatly choose a press and how often I want to use it and then my halfcourt D that I want to fall back into. I am sick and tired of running my press. my center being the back guy. They get the ball to the free throw line and there have broken the press. Rather than cut off the offensive players lane to the hoop my center then decides it is time to go into man to man defense and runs out to guard his man at the threepoint line and the CPU gets an easy dunk

    3. bounce passes and better all around passing

    4. cut down on shooting percentage of heavily contested shots in the paint

    5. more ratings, more tendencies, make players play to tendencies, make ratings matter, just make all the players more unique so each game feels different

      Jab,
Is there a chance your team can patch the problems people are seeing when playing a zone defense this year. There are just way too many steals and intercepted passes by the user (I have gotten anywhere from 20 to 30 steals against top 10 teams). It seems the AI does not know how to handle or react to a zone defense. It has become a game killer for me. I have even tried experimenting with sliders and this seems to have little to no effect on this problem.

I would love to see fake passes implemented next year. A small thing that can make a huge difference and have a huge impact on a game.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Better camera angles. More specifically the ability to zoom in closer to the action, especially while in classic and brodcast cameras.

[quote=Duke11;2038961162]First of all, thank you for taking the time and interest to create these wishlists and listen to some of our feedback. I must admit, I have been pleasantly surprised by this game.

            1) Better ball physics. Believe me, I know that they are already leaps and bounds ahead of where they were in the March Madness series, but there is still some room for improvement. Layups off the backboard would add so much. Especially after you've come down with a big offensive rebound and you're fighting to get the ball back up on the rim/glass. Bounce passes would be great too. They are so rare. I've seen only a few in twenty plus games.

AMEN!!!!!!! If they only address one thing, please address the ball physics. They are improved, but not as good as they should be for next-gen

different variety of styles. ie, a few differently animated point guard types..( you know, maybe you have fancy dribbler/ methodical/bent over low dribbler.) some sort of way that the players aren't all just the same.

ability to change the tempo/keys to the game at the half.
Tip Dunks are HUGE. When better teams play against weaker teams, you usually see 3-4 a game. In regular games 1-2 are present. I have yet to see one in a game that I have played.

On top of the crowd atmosphere it would be nice to implement how NCAA Football uses their system. As the crowd gets louder, you can't hear the point guard call out a play, some players run the wrong plays, etc.

Half-time adjustments are big as well.

Also, my biggest request would be to include base offensive sets. UMass and Memphis both run the Dribble Drive Motion (AASAA), where the players set-up in the same spot at all times unless a specific play is called. This needs to be included.

Have more teams attack the rim on putbacks as well, mainly for clean up purposes (Memphis style).

              I will have more.

                1. Change the shot physics or ball physics or whatever it is actually called. I can tell as soon as I release a shot weather or not it is going in.

                2. Number 1 is ruining the game for me. There is nothing worse than taking a shot in a big situation and having ZERO doubt about weather or not the shot is going to hit or miss.

                3. There are other problems but once again #1 is my main problem. I read countless reviews and havent seen this mentioned once. I'm not the type of player who notices minute things and such, and I picked up on this around the 3rd game I played. It has to be fixed. I can't play a game like this. There are no excuses for this.

                4. I really want to like this game but as you see I can't. This is a game killer for me. I dont understand how this has happened. Even in Lakers vs. Celtics I couldnt tell when a shot was going in, how could this actually happen nowadays?

                5. I am sad and confused about this.

                  Practice mode

Stop non-dunkers from dunking--or at least allow us to do it through edits

Sig shots--just use the ones from NBA or some random ones, but let us choose

                  Dunk and Layup Packages

Hop Step--I don't know how many times I have driven the lane and wished I could hop step to draw more help, or give me some more time to make a decision on what to do with the ball. This would help the drive and kick, also it could cause the defense to overrun a man on a break.

                  Better fast break AI

Where is the help inside the paint? Too many guys go from one end of the court to the hoop with my guys just standing around. Then when I try to manually do it I'm being automatically sucked into guard the center when the PG just goes right past me. Suction needs to be taken out, charges where both players jump up need to be removed, and post play needs to be greatly improved.

Also, why can every center hit a fade-away basket from like 10-15 feet out? Not even Tyler Hansbrough could do that on a regular basis like some of these players I'm guarding. Terribly unrealistic.

There is a lot of issues they need to fix with the gameplay. On fast breaks you should be able to break away my guys always get stuck when I am on a fast break.

The game needs more moves. There aren't enough dunk and dribbling moves. EA needs to give the Quickstrike Anklebreakers feature to NCAA Basketball.
I hate that I can check how bad my teams are doing on my phone.

The AI throws the ball away way too often. I played duke with OREGON STATE and they had 30 turnovers to my 10. Good teams win by protecting the ball and creating turnovers. I feel like the AI really doesn't do that and thats why I can stay in games against Duke with an absolutely horrible oregon state team.

                                Re: Gameplay Wishlist

get rid of the suction! You can't play good defense because of it. Countless times I've watched a guy drive right to the basket because I can't switch and move a help defender to stop him..simply because I am stuck to another player.

Fix the button latency..It sucks that I sometimes try to go up for a rebound...only to have my guy not jump when I need him to and do it a second later after the ball has already headed the other way.

Make the shooting more realistic. There are some guys who can actually hit shots with guys in their face and there are others who can't hit a wide open shot all the time. It sucks to have a good three pointer shooter throw up bricks all day simply because a defender is within 5 feet of him.

The CPU's recovery on defense is too quick(not the same as the human teams AI)

Why can't I attempt to block a shot when a post player has me in a back down position? Even though he shoots that same fadeaway/hook shot I can't ever jump unless I back off(hard to do because of the suction) and then he drives by me because the defense moves weird and not always where I want to move.

The shoot and release is too quick...seems theres no real time to hold the button(no timing aspect) its just tapping b or x if I want to.

All in all, I think the game would feel infinitely better if the suction were removed...that just ruins the experience for me.

forgot one...the free throw meter...its garbage. Anyone without an HD tv has a hard enough time seeing the text, let alone that meter from some of the angles. Best option would be to make it something static on the screen so it can be bigger and easier to see...but really I'd like to just get rid of the meter all together and have FT's be based on a FT rating + FG rating/composure..some formula like that.
