Yeah the effect isn't that good. His face looks very weird, but the brushing is pretty nice.

Brushing is alright, you kinda get it, however the brushes need to all go the same way. Read the brush tips I left in the template. Also for your effect, you seem to get it however your details are waaaaay too high. You aren't really wanting to bring out any details. Contrast and exposure are what you're after.

A million times better! That effect is almost dead on. Couple more things, render needs to be bigger, you should use the mask that goes the same way as the brushes, and you should brush more
