comments? I need tips on the effect. I tried to get the brushes on the right angle but should they ALL go in the same direction (left to right) or should I keep the one on the chest going right to left?

Well, it needs more brushing, try and make the brushes come off of the player instead of putting random ones there. Why does your stadium mask looks weird? Doesn't look like there is an effect

You dont think there's an effect on the render or the mask? And it's a picture of the dome, maybe that's why it's wierd. When you say "come off", the streaks should be above the render or below the render like the football ones? It seems funny when they're on top cuz of those curves at the end, you kno?

Yeah there's definitely an effect there on the player, and the streaks go under, so your fine there, I think he meant more of the placement/type of brushes. The mask outline (the mask itself) is what looks weird, nothing to do with the picture.

Effect is too dark, better job on mask, still not good with brushing though..look at the real cover for reference



Notice the lack of that splatter brush, and how much brushing is actually there. Also note how there aren't any random brushes in front of him, its all coming off in parts that are moving

Also, if you read the brush facts I provided in the template you'd know how to ID the ones from the real cover, it makes it easier to brush IMO

I didn't know you wanted a certain size picture. I could get you a bigger one; I was just using that as an example.

You know what's sorta hinders me? The brushes have that curl piece at the end and something about that just doesn't jive with me. When I position the brushes with the curl visible, it looks awkward/random. But back to the drawing board....

The only time the curl is visible is when you have the white brushes that go over the player. If you start out just brushing behind the player, then there should be no curl visible.
