Re: NCAA 10 Info
OMFG....they have both ESPN and CBS presentation integration!...I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: NCAA 10 Info
The one thing that I'm curious about is the scheduling in dynasty mode. Too often teams would play back to back nights(sometimes back to back to back, or longer) and then go a week without playing a game. This really annoyed me and effected the accuracy of the Top 25.
The other thing that I hope has been made an option is whether teams can choose to not play you due to fear of losing or whatnot. Too often last year when trying to schedule games against teams, they would turn me down for one reason or another. While thats a neat feature, I like to be able to play who I want when I want.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: NCAA 10 Info
Monday thru Friday games on ESPN, big weekend games on CBS. Thats f'n awesome! Nessler, Vitale and Erin Andrews for ESPN games, Johnson and Rafferty for CBS. Freakin' SWEET!!!!
Also love the fact that the locomotion that was implemented into Live has been brought over to NCAA. And I love the new offensive system.
Game sounds damn good right now with this early info. Can't wait to hear about dynasty mode.
BTW moose...thanks for the link.Last edited by countryboy; 10-07-2009, 09:35 AM.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: NCAA 10 Info
1. Two announce teams: I suggested this very this very thing to Adam on the NCAA board over a year ago. In fact, I said, "Just think of the buzz this would create". (but as my sig implies, NCAA's best days are apparently behind it)
Other "stuff" brings you in to the game, presentation is what keeps you there.
Kudos to this game's devs for having the vision to push the envelope. Even if the game is a flop, they have my respect for doing something so audacious.
2. Stadium geeks might be disappointed by this line, ""We also added a few new arenas." This series has never been arena rich, but I can live with that.
3.Lastly, did he really say, "the main thing that seems to be missing every year is capturing the authentic styles of play from each and every school. This authenticity isn't about dancing mascots, cheerleaders or fight songs."?

Re: NCAA 10 Info
Thanks for the link, that article was a good read. I wonder how well mid-majors will be represented in 10. I'm a student at SIU and love my dawgs, and in 09 the arena was pretty off. Now that I think of it most if not all of the Missouri Valley teams had generic looking arenas. Any info on whether these schools were given more attention, i.e. authentic looking courts/arenas, would be great. ThanksComment

Perhaps in the future they'll introduce a team builder-esque feature which would allow custom stadiums.
From what we know so far, if the gameplay and dynasty are on point, I can live with Eastern Illinois having a generic stadium. Having said that, of course it would be nice if there were more authentic arenas.Comment

Jaw meet floor. Phenomenal news. I cannot wait!
I think the football games are going in a coffin from this day forward with 2K10, Live 10 and now this news about NCAA Basketball 10.
NCAA Football 11 developers, I hope you are taking notes. These guys on the hoop team are taking it strong to the rack!!
I just hope the sim engine is up to snuff. If not, it will be a major letdown."Hard work beats talent, when talent isn't working hard.”Comment

Re: NCAA 10 Info
The article said that they added a FEW new arenas. From that I deduce that the MVC will still have generic stadiums.

Who would have thought that it would be NCAA Basketball by EA who sets the Bar for Presentation in sport games. I do hate to sound skeptical but i Wonder how much lines each team has, I will remain cautiously optimistic.

Re: NCAA 10 Info
Unreal. Dual presentation will be amazing! It's aspects like this that can make me overlook a gameplay bug/flaw. The game will have life and be fresh which is so important as I get bored with stale sports games quickly.
I am a tad worried that no dynasty information was in that article. If they have an even half way competent dynasty mode, this could be greatness. Please, please, please be good!
I am not even sure I want to get Live now, but I may want to as a way to get acclimated to the gameplay. I just know I don't have the time to play lots of games at once, so I have to exercise better game buying willpower otherwise it may be a waste.Comment
