Reminds me of NCAA baseball 2007. Add one feature and pretend it is new.

Other than MLB the show all the next gen sports games have been fairly pathetic, and I don't even like baseball.
I guess you haven't played NHL 09 or 10, because they are on par with The Show.

But this silence is really starting to disturb me as well. It's never a good sign when a dev makes a promise then disappears.

I totally agree, what happened to Jab and the sim stats video???
I think there may be alot more things not confirmed in this game than we are prepared to deal with. Spec ops with 3 weeks to go never a good sign I don't care what EA says.

Man! When I saw the 2 network intergration I thought this would be just awesome.

But being restricted to only follow "one" team just completely takes away the beauty of the NCAA tournament.

I really wanted this game. But this is a no-go item for me. So, if this is true I guess I'll have to pass on it.

I never understood why sports games were catered to the solo player. Apart from great text based sims like ootp baseball, most of us buy sports games to play with and against other people.

If NCAA basketball was coded so poorly from the start that multiplayer dynasties are impossible, then just scrap it and start over.

I'll be getting a new pair of sneakers on November 18th instead of EA's latest attempt at college basketball.

CBS Sports and ESPN presentation just make it more bitter.

I could see why people want multi-player dynasties and that should be in. But, IMO, playing any game in dynasty is just cheap and could be classified as cheese. I mean, when I am in dynasty, I will only play my games, no other teams games. Just mine. To me, playing any game means that you can play a game just to make sure a team loses that game. I mean, thats a form of cheating. Say if your UNC and your in a recruiting battle with Duke and the recruit is visiting Duke for a game. You go into that game and play that game to make sure that Duke loses which in effect may end up in a visit that may not be as good as it would have been had Duke won, and therefore increase your chances of landing the recruit. Thats cheating at its finest. And I am glad that we are not able to play any game in dynasty.

If you're playing a dynasty by yourself, you should have the option to play anyway you like. You should be able to "cheat" if you want to, if you have fun playing like that.

Playing online is a different story and no one should have an unfair advantage, but to make restrictions that limit someone's personal, private enjoyment of the game isn't good.

Quit fooling yourself. You know it's true. If it weren't, EA would be on this board in a nano-second refuting it. Their silence on this topic for weeks speaks volumes. Whoever made the decision not to include those features in the game screwed up big-time and needs to be bent over a table at EA Headquarters. It is simply unacceptable, any way you slice it.

Good, though. I'll save $60 and continue playing College Hoops 2k8, which belongs in the gaming Hall of Fame.

Very True Spanky. I have not seen Jab on here in quite awhile after he said he would put dynasty info out almost 2 weeks ago. They sent out videos and blogs featuring what is new in the game. I take their silence and no more releases on what the gaming community really has been stressing in Dynasty Mode will be left untouched. It's too bad as it seems like the enhanced gameplay is nice, but they need to think about lasting appeal and this will hurt their sales.

How is wanting to play the top matchups on the schedule cheating?

If that's the csase you should just remove this feature from all othert sports games becuase many of them allow you play other games outside your schedule.

If there's a top 10 matchup on the schedule that is intriguing i don't how it would be cheating if you played the game out instead of simulating it.

Totally agree with Playmakers...I'm a cpu v cpu "player" so I like to be able to pick and choose which matchups I want to watch - just like tv and let the AI play out the game (each to their own I know)..it's not cheating is just options and customisation.

If you were told you could only watch your team's games for the whole season on tv and nobody else's then I'm sure it would be a problem. If your team doesn't make the NCAA tournament you simply can't watch it - irl there would be uproar from the majority..I rest my case....

...Statum - I'm with you, I'd like to believe, but as some of the guys say, the silence tells a story I think....such as shame as the presentation looks fantastic...

The reason you see it that way is cause you actually claim one of the teams in the season mode. See I don't play other games to make sure certain teams lose. I play 'em just to get in on the fun. I'm not cheating for "my team" because I don't have a "team." I just play. When I play Madden, I'm not "the Cowboys" per say. I'm just playing NFL football.

Its not cheating if you're not with a team mind you. Some people just play dynasty different than you do.

We play how we like...and you play how you like.

Thanks. And yes you're right. Even if anybody's agenda to so call cheat, they bought the game and can do what they want if its just your personal season. Its not online so its not hurting anybody else.

Why pay $60 bucks and you can't play how you want to.
