No. Now I understand why 2k got out of the ncaa basketball sim due to this lawsuit. There hands would have been tied to how accurate their rosters could be.

Taking a look at this week's Top 25, Kansas are still the top team in the Nation despite having a scare earlier in the year. Both Texas and Villanova have climbed the rankings this week sitting at 2nd and 3rd respectively so if you're looking for a new team to roll with in NCAA Basketball 10 you can't go wrong with either of those two teams. Michgan State have fallen from grace after suffering a tough loss last week and are currently ranked 9th in the Nation. The Florida Gators are the most notable movers up the rankings as they were unranked last week and are now sitting at the 13th spot. Billy Donovan looks to be performing his magic down south after his team took down the then 2nd ranked team in the nation in Michigan St. Look out for the Gators indeed.

In your post you said the updates sucked because of Wall's rating. You said nowhere else that you actually looked at other teams. I listed teams that played far above expectations last week, and you went and checked them.

Apparently now you have to have an Xbox Live Gold membership in order to download from the media center, which is ridiculous. This must have just come up in the new dynamic update because I could download from it before. If this is going to stay this way, I believe I will dumping this game soon because that's just ridiculous being my roster set I've created is now infected with these dynamic updates.

You do not have to have Xbox Gold to download the dynamic updates.
I only have silver and had no problem downloading it last night.
Why are you downloading it from the Media Center?
Just click on the dynamic update on the main screen and download it there.

Player updates is not gonna happen. This from an interview on IGN:


There is NO mention of player updates.

To sum up, no. Well, I haven't noticed any changes in player ratings. If there were, they were not significant.

You must have misunderstood what I said, I can download the Dynamic Updates fine, but I can't download from the Media Center after downloading the most recent Dynamic Update, where as before I could. Meaning they must have made the Media Center a Xbox Live Gold requirement for access.

They did but it had nothing to do with the dynamic update.
They where allowing xbox silver accounts to have all the access for this game.
You could download rosters and even play online, they where trying to reel you into buying gold. The free trial period is now over but again it had nothing to do with the dynamic update. Do me a favor go in and erase all you dynamic updates and then try to go play a game online. It will not let you which proves they dynamic update has nothing to do with it.

Guys, if one were just getting the game now, what do you feel is the proper procedure to handle this? Should we apply the updates first and then go about acquiring rosters and starting a dynasty?

Get the rosters downloaded first then download the dynamtic update.
When downloading the update do not edit the players ratings.
