What's your setup for Live(difficulty,quarters,etc)?

Like to hear everyone's minutes per game and difficutly and if they touched anything to the game(ie: sim to arcade, lowering every player's blocks, putting on crash boards). I want to find the best mix of fun and simulation.

Let's see:

I play on All-star with 6 minute quarters and get realistic stats. I'm playing on sim and sometimes play on arcade. I usually have the crash boards on, because it makes the pace of the game better.

I forgot to mention that I have on the fatigue.

6 minutes.
Superstar.
Lowered everyones speed rating.
Arcade w/ rules on.
Crash boards.
Fatigue on.

7 or 8 minute quarters
Superstar (the only way to play)
Upped Defensive fouls and upped offensive fouls a little less
Arcade with all rules on
Press Box cam with some zoom
Adjusted players' speed, field goals, inside scoring, blocking, steals, and 3pt
Crash boards off
Primary defense is 3 quarter press

why r u guys playing on arcade with the rules turned on? are u still thinking it's more realstic than sim? if so, how?

Defensive Fouls upped to about 75% of the bar full

With these settings my Franchise Team (Mavs) is averaging just over 100 per game (104 against). I am just under .500. Finley is among the league leaders in PPG (he is a monster), Nash and Dirk are both among the leaders in 3 pt pct., Raef is 2nd in the League in Blocks (to Big Ben) and if I don't get on a winning streak soon I'm, gonna miss the Playoffs.

^when im playing on arcade and mj doesnt do dunks then i know they messed up

The jury is still out on Superstar level:
Last night I had a pretty good game winning 93-88 against the Knicks. The Knicks ended up shooting 50%, but Saturday I played Orlando and got beat by 25. For three quarters Orlando shot 73%. I guess the Comp decided it had to lower it's shooting percentage so in the fourth Orlando shot horribly. They ended up shooting 63%. I found that in my games, if the comp shoots in the 50% range then the games will be fun and competative. If they shoot in the 60+%, ie Orlando, then I get blown out. I guess in reality that's how it should go. I mean if I can't play D then I should get beat. But sometimes there really isn't anything I can do better to stop the CPU. Oh well I'll keep plugging away.

FG : I got Live and gonna keep it, reminds me of live97 and it's not as serious as NBA2K3, which is fine for me since I am more of a pickup and play guy.

The only level you can play on is Superstar Level. I still have a hard time beating the cpu on it but it seems on the other levels, the pump fake is too effective. I play 5min quarters also since I am playing more for fun rather than simulation. I find 5min quarters still give you realistic stats and the player ratings in this game are excellent. I am playing in Simulation mode and NOT 'arcade w/ rules on'.

Anyone interested in playing online tonight? Or any night this week? I have PS2 dialup, but my connection is usually around 80%, and if I'm playing someone with a good connection, the game is smooth. I'd like to play someone with:

7-8 min quarters
Superstar Level
Fouls at normal, or just a little higher
Fatigue ON

I am really enjoying NBA Live 2003 as are my friends, I am going to play my first ever 82 game season with the Sixers(that's how much I dig it). The Live 97 analogy is spot on.
