im thinking that his bench mightve stayed and those star guys like longley and rodman wouldnt have come about... its a whole different story when you consider if his teammates wouldve stayed and the first dynasty wouldve been "intacted"... could they have survived 5 more years together? would kerr still be avilable etc...
Had Jordan not retired the first time do you think...

People conveniently forget that MJ played most of the 95 season and all the play offs...and that Orlando decimated them.
MJ then demanded a PF was added after Horace Grant killed them in that series...an old Bull.
Horace Grant killed them...so I'm sure Hakeem would have destroyed them.
The Bulls were a great team...but their time was up.
Realising that forced them to add Rodman.
They also got lucky that the Shaq - Penny combo was ruined by injury and greed.Comment

As for the question, as long as Krause and co. kept recharging things by getting different bench guys then yes the Bulls would've won 8 straight. I know management was vilified for breaking up that Bulls team but it happened at the right time.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Originally posted by 4BiddenKnightI know this sounds stupid but why did Jordan retire for the 1st time?
Anyways, Rodman would frustrate the Dream like how he would against any other centers (Mourning is 1 example, can't remember others) and throw his game off. MJ would just have a walk in the park against the Houston D since he's in his prime and still progressingly better. So I would say the Bulls can win 8 straight.
Rodman was not on the Bulls in 1994 and 1995Comment
