Lorenzen Wright demands a trade from the Grizz

$7.7 million is his last year of pay for those wondering what contract he has. He announced this at a 2pm press conference that many thought was about his basketball camps.

So why does he want a trade when he is getting 7.7 mil??? They are a legitimate playoff contender

But they're not going to win the nba championship
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

I'm sure someone will take him. It's an expiring contract, maybe West can use him to acquire that Center he's always wanted.

Lorenzen Wirhgt is a decent enough Center I think. Who can you get that is a center with Lorenzen. There isn't really any dominant cnters out there execpt Shaq, Yao and Amare and there is no way the Griz will get them. I dont really get why he wants out. Play the season, they have a good chance at the playoffs then you can think championship then after the season ask for the big money. Your getting out of there anyways.

Hell, he's been in Memphis since before highschool. I don't blame him for wanting out of this city.

Wright is a serviceable big manl. A team like Phoenix could use him.

But would a team like Phoenix need him? That's the question. They made it this far. Wasn't because they needed another big man. Would be nice but would he get playing time? How much did he play in Memphis? Maybe it's the coach. Any word on Bonzi Wells by the way?

Well they need some muscle up front, this will free up Amare to do his thing. Its a similar situation going on in Indiana. J.Oneal was playing center and getting killed on defense b/c he isnt a true center. Bring in a J.Foster and move J.Oneal back to PF and now J.Oneal is an All-Star again.
