Re: Zo will retire if he doesn't get his way (what a shock!)
I had alot of respect for the guy especially when he became a Net, but he lost mines when he continued bad talking the Nets management. I still have a little respect for what he is doing right now, no man would come back and play b-ball with one kidney but he is determined to win a championship. imo he's not going to get one he might as well retire, playing behind Shaq should be a blessing wasn't he the same guy complaining about playing too much in NJ and as soon as he sees limited action he wants more. If he did play a role in game 7 the Heat still would have lost because he wouldn't know how to handle the ball when Detriot pressured him and the Wallaces would have their way on offense when he defends either one. -

Diddy you know I mean no offense here, but I think it's a lot harder for Zo to play, since he's a big guy and always gets banged around. Not trying to say the b-ball you play is soft, just saying that it might be a bit harder for a bruiser like Zo.Comment

Basketball is basketball. Esp when you play above the HS level. This aint no skirt chasing game. If you can't bang around stay off the court. It's not that hard hell I played football in Middle School with one and was told by doctors not to.President of the Devils Den

This is the beginning of the end for Miami. If Zo leaves, Miami is screwed come playoff time. He was the defensive stopper in those series, no one else in the league could stuff Ben Wallace so many times on dunks.Comment

Someone please explain how having one kidney has anything to do with being bumped around in the paint.Comment

Originally posted by Kashanovabut u dont play an nba season, you have pratice, then the games, then maybe overtime, running up and down for two hours almost its alot diffcult in the nba
No but I do play ball in college. Listen the first yr without having 2 would be hard on him. It's not like that now. His body has adjusted to having one kidney. It's not like hes walking on water. The only thing one kidney has not going for it is if it shuts down you are on dialysis simple as that. You don't walk different, shoot different, run different, or even have less energy.President of the Devils Den

If ZO really wanted a high chances for a championship ring, SA is just on the other side waiting for him to call them. They will need someone like him in case they will meet DET again in the finals since Rasho is useless against DET and Nazr contributes nothing to lighten up Duncan's load against the Wallaceville. At least Horry did.Comment

He could of easily went to TOR, played for them and asked them to trade or release him so he could chase his dream. But instead he refused to go there. And yet we are hard on VC and Tmac but Zo gets a free pass? Yea, ok.Comment

Hey he may seem like a cry baby, but off the court he is a gentle giant. They guys has donated serious $$$ to hospitals for research. He has been here in Atlanta on many occasion giving money, time, and speeches.
Dont hate on him too bad.Comment

He could easily start for SA. Rasho sucks and Nazr can't catch his fingers.Comment
