I have to say....I'm impressed with Duncan and Manu's achievements

Duncan with the 3 MVP's....He's in good company with Magic, Michael and Shaq

Manu with the Gold Medal win and then the NBA Championship.....I believe only 5 others to do it

I think this team has a chance to continue winnin titles as long as they have these two guys around.

I agree Duncan is an all-around player who has even more to improve even though he is superb as he is right now. I think Manu is just getting better every year, this guy seems like he can be a superstar if he wanted to, but he doesn't care about that and I like that kind of attitude.

personally i'm thrilled there could be a great Spurs Pistons rivalry, both teams are pretty set up for a long run...

doubt it, this serious to me shows that duncan isnt immortal i believed he played bad this game though he shot 27 times only made ten shots he had 5 To's he didnt play good to me he just got the roll at the end ball was going in when he got foul and all other good thing making shots from the corner he just had it going for him at the end.

              Excuses, excuses, excuses.

Game 7 is when you show up. Game 7 is when you make it a priority to get it done because if you don't, all that you accomplished earlier in the series really doesn't matter. And I'm sure guys like Tracy McGrady would agree with me on that........

he only struggled for one series, give him a break. I'm sure lots of other superstars in the past have struggled in entire series. Plus Duncan stepped up in game 7 when it really counted.

He's still one of the best players in league imo. I think he's got room for improvement.....free throws? a new jump shot?

Duncan stepped up when needed, so did Manu. It still pains me though that they held Duncan to 10-27 and still lost. Looking back now I wish we would have played him straight up more because Tim's passes out of the double teams for three's by Manu and Bowen really killed us. Then again maybe he makes shots without the double, but I would have gambled and took that chance. Ben, Sheed, and Dice played awesome defense oh him but with Manu and even Horry and Barry contributing it wasnt enough. Duncan did step up though and did enough to win and that is all that matters.

How amazing, TD avg 20 & 14 yet he did that while "STRUGGLING" as many have said. WOW!

Props to DET, they showed the heart, guts, pride of a Defending Champ, throughout their 2 yr run @ the NBA Finals.

As a Spurs fan, this title ranks 2nd only to the 2003 (DRobinson's last yr) since I'm a Robinson fan. We defeated the defending champs in a toughhhhhhhhh 7 game series to win the title. No one can place asteriks, or any negative comments, sysmbols next to this title.

Thank you NBA, SPURS & PISTONS for a great year & Finals.

I remember watching Duncan at Wake Forest, and Im not surprised he's been that succesful at the next level.

Manu, however, is a different story. I remember when he played his first NBA game, he did a lot of things wrong, but he still dropped a lot of points and caught my eye. I remember saying to myself before school that morning while watchnig Sportscenter, 'That white dude has a ton of potential'. Sure enough, he's turned into a very good player in this league. It's great to see someone get so much better.

I used to not like duncan when he was in wake forest, mainly because I was a unc fan and his team handed it to my favorite ncaa bball team, lol. But surprisingly I started to like him because he was on a team in the nba that I liked, and look how great he has become.

I knew Ginobili had success in Europe but I didn't know his resume included all this. . . I saw this on another site, apparently it was published in an Argentinian newspaper.
