Anyone figure out good sim settings for ID2003?

Seems to me that either 7 or 8 minutes can't decide, I also lower the 3 pointers down 1 for both me and the cpu and 2 pointers down 2, that seems almost perfect. Anyone else have their own that may be better?

I have my quarter length set at 8 min, although 7 seems to produce the most realistic scores.

As for simming games, 11 works the best.

I just played my first game of the season as the Sonics against the Suns and I lost 119-114 with 9 minute quarters on veteran level (with slider adjustments.) The game was really fun but Gary Payton scored 61 points. I simmed the other games with 12 minute quarters and I think Allen Iverson had 41 points.

How many total shots between the two teams are you getting with 8 minute quarters it should be anywhere between 148-165 shots that's roughly the nba averege per game total for both teams.

I'm playing with the Wizards at 6 minute quarters and the last few games I'm averaging around 85-95 points and so is the computer. I have the steal sliders for user and cpu down 2 notches and the game speed up 1 notch.

I play a much slower realistic pace game, so I play wiht 9 min quarters. After 16 games so far I get about 160 total shots a game, 90 total rebounds, 10-15 total steals, 3-10 total blocks, and 10-20 total fouls.

I've been very happy with these settings:

CPU and USER 2 point - down 2 notches
CPU and USER steals - all the way down
CPU and USER dunks - down 2 notches (more realistic)
CPU and USER dekes - up 1 notch
            CPU blocks - up 2
            USER blocks - up 1

            Referee - Strick
            Defensive boards - HIGH
            Thats it.
