Re: How many SUperstar HS NBA players did not dominate in HS?
I think it's pretty simple that they would have to dominate it for NBA scouts to even check them out... let along have them become lottery picks? Am I missing something here?I do because I can, I can because I want, I want because you say I can'tComment

I'm sure that Kobe and T-Mac wouldve had to dominate back when not many high schoolers were in the draft. Back then mostly everyone in the draft was from college.Comment

LOL Come on man. Who is the dick head who called him dominant?!? Does the kid have fans? How can you be a fan and never seen him play? hmm
Let the kid play atleast in the summer league first...seesh
He avg. 22 ppg and 16rpg(i think) in HS not too shaby, but not great either.
Again this pick was not about what he is, its about what he may become. For instance lets say he went to UCONN for 2 years, he may have been the 1 pick in 2007...instead we get him a 10 now. He could be the best player from this draft or NOT .... or He could be, God forbid, Olowakandi...
Guess we will just have to wait and see.“It’s so senseless to me to say he shouldn’t take over like that. You give the same amount of shots to everybody else and they’re not making that many, I know it.”Comment

Because High School players are supposed to have heigher ceilings and more potential. We don't know who he played for, what type of system he was in. So maybe his stats could be misleading. I know for a fact that Al Jefferson dominated High School competition.Comment

I think it's safe to say KG dominated in HS.....
The true fan always know his bounds, unlike the wagon-jumping hounds,
Who never feel the slightest shame for changing hats from game to game.
The players come and then they go, but one thing for certain that I know,
With purple hearts we take a stand.... for loyal is the Viking Fan.Comment

To me basketball is simple...if you are blessed with the body for the game and you put in the work and dedication you can be very good.
Guys like Kandi, Diop and some others just never put in enough work or any for that matter. AND you can tell by watching them play.
I think going to LA was the best thing for Bynum because you got one of the most hard working guys in the league on that team. Maybe some of it will rub off on him like it did onto caron. I hope thats all that rubs off on him though..lol...I beat you guys to the punch“It’s so senseless to me to say he shouldn’t take over like that. You give the same amount of shots to everybody else and they’re not making that many, I know it.”Comment

Originally posted by KDREPoses another question then, remember the reports on Desagana Diop?
although i was really surprised when i checked the draft and saw bynum drafted at 10...by the lakers.....more like anger at mitch for being a dumba$$ but i guess after looking how the draft went, it doesn't seem as ridiculous of a pick as i initially thought
but still....there were still other big men that could have been picked at 10th....more established guys....so i hope mitch isnt gonna be wrong about thisComment
