All Eyez on Hughes...

With Redd/Jesus gone and Phoenix daring JJ to sign an offer sheet, it looks like all eyes are on Larry Hughes. This is not what I was hoping for, as now Ive heard reports that the clippers (why?) are looking at throwing the max at hughes, and i dont think the wizards will overpay hughes by THAT much. No way is he worth the max, but the Cavs may also give it to him as they are getting desperate... Would you give hughes the max?

He is solid player that has come into his own the past couple seasons, but no way he is the max.

Hell, he was the third option on the wizards this year.

The best situation for larry is with the wizards but if other teams are going to over pay for him their loss....and why do the clippers need him? why not have aline up of

If the Suns arent giving Johnson the max, no way that Hughes is worth the max.

The Cavs should offer JJ around 11-14 per year...Its not over payin hes a solid player and got really be a star he would shine next to Lebron more than he will Nash/Amare imo. I would only offer Hughes about 8-9 Mil a year nothing more...I would not be upset if the cavs offered JJ the max they could in a year or so he will be worth it. If Redd got the max he should too

I would take JJ over huges in a second. That guy has an all around game. Him and james would be killer.

In a heartbeat. He takes care of 3 major needs..Perimiter D, outside shooting, and he can give us backup PG minutes. The Cavs are against the wall...they need to make this happen.

well the max 4 him is diff from the max of like a franchise player lebron would demand 20+ easily in a few years i dont think 12-14 is too much 4 a player wit SERIOUS potential. "U cant win without gamblin"

Good move by the Clipps if they can sign Hughes... Corey can be played at the 3 where he'd be most effective.

If I was a GM I would offer Joe Johnson the max over 6 years just to cap out the suns.
