The only thing I want for my Rockets is Bobby Simmons. I don't even want Swift because I'm not too high on him like everyone else is.

Do you like him as a player at all? He'd be an ideal weakside defender with Yao. I don't know if you could say the same for Bobby Simmons

I dont see anything wrong with having someone like him on your team though. He's consistent on what he does: block shots and rebound. I think he can get through the league doing those things.

He also runs the floor very well.

Well, did he not turn down Memphis' offer a year ago to test the waters this summer?

Why would he overvalue himself. West's offer was more than enough, and now he wants even more for what?

He may be a good shot blocker, but I can't see him holding his own against any of the above average PFs in the league. Good help defender maybe, but one on one against any one the Rockets will face in the playoffs, I doubt.

They should've went hard at SAR.

Well, The Rockets are a very good defensive team, so that's exactly what they need.

SAR is pretty much like Juwan Howard, so that's a no no

Their games may be simlar. But SAR is way better then Howard.

Yes, but that doesnt fill the need. Thats the point. Its like having Howard and Gooden on the same team. Why would anyone do that?

That was the same issue with having Mo Taylor and Juwan. Both guys played away from the inside, didnt play interior D( which didnt help), therefore the entire team had to pack the lane when someone drove in.
