Need Some Help

I'm not a big basketball fan, but I enjoy basketball videogames, if that makes any sense.

But not being a fan means that I not demand the most realistic output and simulation available - I'm more looking for something that is just fun to play.

All that said, which direction should I go for a game? I had NBA 2K1 on the DC and had found that, while enjoyable, required too much knowledge of the sport to score consistently that I enjoyed. Like I said, I know nothing about basketball...

Live intrigues me a bit, because it seems "arcadey" to what everybody is talking about here. But let it be know, I don't want NBA Jam with five players either.

How is Inside Drive? Is it ah appy medium? And which has the most style, substance, and better visuals. Remember, when it comes to somebody who knows diddly about the sport, these things help.

Any assistance would be nice, and input from all of you would be appreciated.

This is gonna go nowhere really quickly. If you can, rent and try out all 3.

Live isn't as "NBA Jam" as some claim it is... It just takes a lil bit of time and once you get used to things like actually getting back on defense, they won't run fast breaks all over you. In a given quarter of ten minutes, I maybe have three or four fast breaks from the computer.

With that said, I agree with the poster above that if you can, you should just rent all three and see which one fits your style =)

Try looking threw the billions of threads and post, but dont make your decision based on whatt we say. Try what the other 2 posters say, rent all 3.
