    Eddy Curry

I say to the Bulls organization.. DOWN WITH CURRY!! After this fiasco thats hes given us after everything we've given him, he doesnt deserve a new contract from the Bulls. He's complaining that the Bulls are holding out on signing him. Hey big fella, did you forget that just a few months ago you had a heart problem?

All his talk about rushing to get him a new contract, has me worried that his heart condition really is a problem.

If he wants to go to ATL, trade his big *******. We certainly dont need him. We can pick up Al Harrington, maybe salim stoud..

But definately after his whining, we should not sign him. He will cry and cry and cry. I always new he was a big baby, last year I thought he might have grown out of it..but I guess not

he played his best season this past season. I'd let him prove to me that he doesn't have any problems, then sign him.

I have no idea where you're getting this from. From everything I've read, he wants to be a Bull. He went on a trip to the ATL, but reportedly he doesn't really feel like it as his heart is with Chi-Town.

He needs to go back to CHI-city. It's a mutual fit, and he's finally coming into his own.

I agree. He should just stay in Chi. He's blossomed into a good offensive low-post player. Him and Chandler seem to compliment each other well. Curry just wants money, which IMO I don't think he really deserves. But he's gotta do what he's gotta do.

He does want the money, and I can't really blame him. The Bulls should realize that they can spend money on this guy because big men are always at a premium, and he's still getting better.

Agree, but there's only so high I would go for him. In his years as a Bull, he has shown only flashes of being a worth lot of money, and for me, that's not enough to give him top dollar. His work ethic and his heart conditions would be red flags that should count against his value.

As of right now..all he wants is money. Right here..RIGHT NOW. He doesnt care who its from. Atlanta, Cleveland, Chicago....

Just as long as theres money on the table, lots of it. He'll sign. I read today in the Sun Times/Tribune that Curry was "Wine'd and Dine'd" by Atlanta.

"I realize that it's a chance I might not be in Chicago," Curry said. "I'm definitely open to come to the Hawks." - Eddy Curry

The reason he is saying this is because the Bulls want to offer him a short term contract, but with a lot of incentives, like keeping his weight down, or if there is more problems with his heart.

The thing is, he doesnt want a short term contract, and I believe its because he's not 100% healthy. John Paxson knows this, why do you think he's still kinda holding out and waiting for an insurance policy to come through?

He's not going to risk a 6 year multimillion deal on a guy that might not play again for the rest of his career. (And NO, I dont wish him harm or anything bad health, I wish him the best health ever and to hope he comes back 100%) It has already happened to the Bulls with Jay Williams, do you really think Reinsdorf, the same guy that didnt want Jordan, Pippen, or Jackson coming back to the Bulls, would want a guy like Curry, who happened to "Prove" himself on the last year of his contract, and who also has heart problems.

                This is a big gamble.

Oh and just in case you really think Eddy Curry is the real deal, and he finally shined last year. Just remember these 2 words.. ERICK DAMPIER.

The guy is 7 foot tall and has post moves....this is the NBA, where if you have any potential and height you get big guaranteed money.

The Bulls have to ask themselves if it's worth it....

you have a point on his money deal, but he's no erick dampier, I think he's better than dampier. Dampier just went to an organization that has struggled with the low post for years, probably because of the organization's gameplan. The bulls on the other hand have a better coach imo, and curry can definitely benefit from that.

What does Erick Dampier have anything to do with? He's actually getting paid reasonablly for a center in this league.

Your just over-reacting. I've read where Chicago has been trying to keep Curry out of work-outs and showing he has recovered from the heart problems, so they can sign him cheap.

If Chicago wont give him his market value, then of course he's going to go to another team and try to get the money. Joe Johnson wants to be back in Phoniex, but when they are only offering 9 million on average and the Hawks average 14 million on average, you expect Johnson to just take the lesser money?

Curry's doing the same thing. He's stated over and over he wants to be in CHI but they have to show him they want him as well.
