    Passing in 2K3

Can someone explain 2K3 passing? People say that you get the hang of it, but I don't see how that can happen. I don't have the booklet in my rented version so I don't have anything to go by. Can you dictate when a bounce pass is thrown, how? The only thing I've found is that you can dictate the speed of the pass, which really doesn't do much good since the speed you want would depend on the angle you wanted to pass, but you can't adjust the angle.

With max passing on, tapping the pass button throws a lob pass which should be used for throwing into the post or across court. Holding the pass button throws a hard chest pass or bounce pass. You should only do this when passing on the perimeter and swinging from one side to the other is really well done.

Hit Y to bring up the icons for icon passing which I use most in transistion. Makes it easy to pick who to pass to and pass to the right person. The only problem is icon passing isn't pressure sensitive but if you don't use it much in the half court it doesn't matte.

The right analog stick is great for passing on the run and to players in transition. If you see a guy cutting for the alley oop this is the best method to use. It's also very effect on fast breaks.

    Hppe that helps.

That helps, but the passing is still deficient, IMO. So, I can't feed the post with a bounce pass? I can't throw a bounce pass in traffic because it'll be a hard chest pass that will get picked off...I really don't like that at all...you're stuck throwing lob passes all the time to avoid turnovers and that allows the defense to recover.
