You say Wade doesn't need to be alone with mediocre teamates as if thats something LeBron wanted. If LeBron was to miss the Playoffs this upcoming season it doesn't mean "he ain't that good". This is Hughes' first year with the team and Mike Brown's 1st year as the Head Coach. Also consider the Cavs still haven't addressed some other issues.

Its sort of hard to compare LeBron, Wade and Melo off of team success, seeing as how they all are in totally different situations.
Lebron has shaq and they beat the pistons.

this year will show a lot if bron can't make it to the east playoffs again with Larry and Zydrunas maybe he ain't that good..
The thing about Wade is this, he's surrounded by a very good team and a good coach. He isn't the focus of the media, doesn't have to worry about performing at his best every single night and lastly, because of the talent around him he's able to grow as a baskeball player much faster then Mello or even Lebron. (to a certain extent, I put Lebron ahead of Wade simply because he's singlehandedly made the Cavs a better team)

If Lebron had better role players and coaching around him then the Cavs would be a definite East contender but since this is not the case it makes Lebron's tenure in the NBA even more remarkable because he's taken a poor franchise and has them competing for a playoff spot. The trouble is that Lebron may just bolt as soon as he can because for some reason Cleveland is having trouble acquiring good solid FAs.

LOL LOL. If you really watched basketball you would know that Carmelo has led the nuggets to the playoffs back to back for the first time since the days of mutombo, abdul rauf. How many times have the cavs made the playoffs with lebron? Dont get me wrong lebron is better than carmelo but to me neither has a variety of moves. You cant really play defense in the nba nowadays so lebron just blows by people. but lebron is gonna end up like mcgrady, kobe, and vince. A bonafide star that struggles to lift his team to the promise land. and personally i dont see lebron getting better. it sounds crazy but i think the guy has maxed out. Think about this for a second how much better can he do than 27 7 7??? 30, 10, 10??? Dont fool yourself.

I actually have become less of a 'Melo fan over the past two years. The thing w. him refusing to play in one game just irked the hell outta me. I liked him a lot at Cuse, cause UConn beat them twice, but he still brought the Big East a nat'l title.

Plus he isn't as good as I thought he'd be.

LeBron hasn't changed at all. He's the truth, will carry this league for the next dozen years at least.

I don't even know what to say to that. First off, he's 21 so YES he will get alot better. Second of all, eventually he'll have some halfway decent players supporting him so he'll put up better numbers too.

I can't believe someone actually thinks LeBron has already hit his ceiling.

Melo is a better player than I thought and Lebron is better than I thought.

I use to think LeBron is an overhyped HS player, thought Carmelo was better. But now, I'm on King James' bandwagon & Carmelo to me is not one of those people I will talk a lot about in any basketball discussions.

Nothing has changed my view. I've always thought Bron was better then Melo (Not taking anything away from Melo cause the kids nice) but, I just didn't think Bron would develope so quickly.

Mello has been a disappointment throughout his career but I think a full season with George Karl as his coach should bring some results.
So his rookie year was disappointing??????

Good point. Melo played good ball his rookie year. He didn't really fall off until the Olympics, but hey....who on our team didn't fall off in the Olympics?

He started off slow this past season but Karl helped him pick it up.
