Thanks...I just looked it up myself. It's C-Webb for sure. I hope he can contribute the way we know he can.

    05-06 $19M
    06-07 $20.7M (player option)
    07-08 $22.3M

    Mashburn is $10M/yr

Their role players are actually making what they should. But that Webber contract is jaw-dropping.

Yeah, his money is massive. But I'll take hsi talent and his 3 years instead of corny butt Kenny Thomas and his 5 or whatever years he had left and Brian Skinner and his non-deserved 5 years.

What else can Billy King do? He can't rebuild. He couldn't trade Iverson due to his contract and some other factors. And you can't rebuild without trading Iverson first. So, he had to make the tough choice of still trying to compete for a title. Can they win one is a whole different story.

            Honestly, I think they can.

The Sixers are only going to get better, and I fail to see how they can't improve.

The young guys they have will develop and I don't consider any of them "risks." They are solid investments, and I think Igoudala really will be the next AI.

I am iffy on Webber, and seeing the amount of money he is making is discouraging, but my friend and I went bonkos when the Sixers acquired him, so I am not going to give up on him yet.

I love the Sixers situation currently. Granted they are over the cap now, but it's in a good way. They spent their money (minus Webber) on youth, and last year they got rid of older players that were starting to decline.

If they don't do better, which I honestly think is unlikely, they will at least be exciting to watch. Iverson, Igoudala, and Korver are already solid IMO, and Dalembert will be a solid player after a year or two more of development.

I think the Sixers winning a Championship before AI's retirement is definitely a possibility; getting there even moreso.

Mo Cheeks, the team's youth, and AI/Webber are exciting to me, and I am really looking forward to the upcoming season. Of the directions the Sixers could have gone since acquiring Webber, I am not unhappy with the choices they have made at all.
