there are no perfect sliders. The computer is going to make all it shots and you're not. I have used every slider on the board and I still get beat by the computer. I miss shot under the goal I can not hit open jumpers and the cpu drain them all. But I still like the game.

I think you need to spend some time shooting jumpers in the practice mode. Either that, or just drive to the hole all the time. If your sliders are on the default setting, I find it hard to believe that the CPU's lighting you up no matter what. Try doubling them, putting tight pressure on them, putting bigger defenders on them, poking at the ball to harrass them into taking bad shots or giving the ball up, or just find out what hand he shoots from and try to block the shot from that side. If Pierce shoots right-handed, I'll try to get to his right side and jump up when he shoots the ball. That way I have a better chance of making him miss. So far, no superstar has gotten over 30 against me and when they do start to get hot I do all of these things to cool them down.

I noticed the cpu was doing all of it's scoring inside and I was losing pretty bad. So I raised the AI Medium Shot and AI 3-pt Shot up 1 notch so they would shoot a more variety of shots and not just in the paint. Also what has really helped my shooting is that when I catch the ball I press L2 and it faces my guy up to the basket. That way if you shoot he does not have to spin around in mid-air to shoot the ball.
